Thank you Adam when I first started 20 yrs ago I used oil and talc then years later I found TU reflexology balm ..its the best that I have found so highly recommend it .
I use Shea butter, which is creamy but melts and does give some grip. Adam, could you please address working on folks with very turned out/externally rotated feet? Or even people that are so relaxed their legs are flopping open? This is always challenging for me... thank you for your videos!
I have used Shea butter as well ... I like it when I am doing mobile Reflexology. ahh yes the turned out feet, very challenging and a bit frustrating right? I will see if I can put something together for you. What have you tried?
Adam Thomas I’ve just tried adjusting their legs by straightening the knee. Sometimes that works for a little while, but with people with heavy outward rotation it is moot. That is the tough part.
Great vid Adam Question what determines you to choose oils first or later Because I find a lot of clients prefer oils at the beginning of the session 🍷😉
I was trained without using oil during a session so, I guess I am just familiar with that method. If I use oil at the beginning of the session the techniques that I use with not work the same because my thumbs and fingers will slip. I also find that if I use oil at the beginning I will end up doing more massage techniques rather than the focus on the pointed reflexology reflexes. I do know many Reflexologist do use oil or cream during their session and have great results as well. Personal choice I guess.
Your skills and techniques are INCREDIBLE Adam! I hope to meet you oneday - you have helped me immensely in my career! 💜👣🌿🙏🏽
