Love the extra switch idea 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Just used this video as a reference when installing one! Thanks! I had an issue where this model doesnt work without the cover on but there is no button. So the sensor wasnt picking up the door being installed when it was. Smh....could have blown out the heater if I wasnt paying attention.
Nice job!!
Thank you 😊👍
Thank you
@ThaOx24 Thanks for watching.
@HandymanLand on those heaters do you have anything else on that breaker or just that Heater?
I'm asking because we sold our house and I have to install some to pass VA loan. I'm thinking I can take an outlet out and use those wires for the heater
@@ThaOx24 You can use the wires from the outlet to install this heater. But you just need to make sure that there's not too much running on that line. If someone uses something that pulls a heavy load that's on the same line the breaker will break.
HELP😭 please tell me its a way to put this heater on a iron pole with wheels
so i can wheel it around the house????
A Cadet Com-Pak Electric Wall Heater
The gas heat is not as hot any more😩 ?
Hello, sorry for the late response.
Although it is possible, by connecting a plug to the end that feeds the Cadet Wall Heater.
But, I do not recommend that. That could be extremely dangerous.
I recommend purchasing a portable radiator heater 1500W.
amzn.to/3RbuX5p
There are several type but this one is affordable and safer.
These are portable. you can place it in the center of a room or in a corner.
Prices for these are still down. But come this winter prices will go up.
I hope I answered your question. Thanks for watching.
what is it when the coils get red hot ? is it turned up to high ?
1000W take just 8,5 Amps - you can put the 15 amps switch without any problems - you have 6,5 amps spare- EASY
Thank you for the comment 👍 I like this Cadet wall heater. It works great. I'm adding two more in the house. Thanks again.
I gotta question for you. I know that this unit is 1500 Watts, but how many settings does it have? Does it have a low medium, high, and if so, can you vary the wattage? For example, 500, 1000 or 1500?
Thanks and great video
Is it possible to fix one the only blows cold no heat comes out?
To use it only as a fan, yes. But I won't recommend it. They do sell wall fans. Which is flush to the wall if that's what you're kind of looking for. Thanks for watching...
Good video! the new ford transit trail has a 12volt 60 amp plug. Can I install this heater in it ( using it only while motor is running ) Thank you.
Yes, heater would work. But the heat output would be 100x smaller, so it wouldn't be worth it. You can convert voltage and/or AC and DC with the right inverter with the power rating, but heating from a 12V supply is not really practical, it would need such a large current. This CADET wall heater is amazing. The room I installed it in, is a 10x11. And i didn't expect it to be that good. Although it's technically possible to use almost any residential space heater in a car, it's more efficient and less dangerous to use a 12V heater than to plug a 120V heater into an inverter. @@HandymanLand Thanks for the information. I've been trying to come up with a good way to get heat in the back of the van.
Just installed one but fan is spinning slowly why is that? Great job
That's strange... I didn't experience that. Is the speed of the fan changing when you raise the temperature?
Thanks for watching. Hit that 🔔Icon, so you can receive my latest videos.👍
Nope the speed is the same on the highest setting and low! Thank you
@@mmacias956 Hi, may want to check the voltage output of your electrical wires. Also, there is a possibility you wired a 240V fan with only one leg of power as 120V. Lastly, the fan itself could be bad.
@Alex I’ve done some research and I did go with 240V and I need 120V heater thanks man
@@mmacias956 Awesome news that its diagnosed!!! I learned everything I know from Handyman Land! This guy is great at his craft 🙏🏼
Does the thermostat hold/regulate a temperature like a wall thermostat or just maintain a constant temperature and air output?
prob just maintains at a constant temperature. i purchase a 240 double pole heater like this one, and will most likely at a thermostat instead of switch
Ct Car Vlogs, Is right. Just maintains the at constant temperature
@@HandymanLand just installed it yesterday with a thermostat. does perfect at 240v heats up pretty quick too
It just stopped blowing warm air after working perfectly for 2 years since i bought the house. Fan still blowing but no heat. I tried to press the reset but i don’t think that did anything. Does this mean that it needs to be replaced or is there a way to fix this issue without having to buy a new one?
I recommend, just replace it. When it comes to electrical heaters, if something seems wrong, I just replaced them.
@@HandymanLandthank you so much for such a speedy reply! I truly appreciate it!
@@RaRaCruz Thanks for watching 🙂👍
PLEASE HELP😭
mine doesnt blow hot air anymore.. ive had it for 3 months
Wow! I'm sorry to hear that. Yours must have had a defect. Hope you are able to get your money back. I have not yet experienced anything like that. My CADET wall heater has been working as it should.
