great video, worked perfectly for my homework problems i was working on. i was stuck at the point where i had to translate the construction arcs and once you said cut them out from paper i knew how to do it, thanks!
The drawing in page 43 is not correct. The relative locations of C2, D2, C3, and D3 to others are somehow wrongly shifted. The synthesized link is OK, but the makings of G2 and H2 are wrong.
the presentation is perfect .the best mechanical engineering teacher all over the world.
7 years later and still helpful!
Thank you so much. Literally the only video explaining it

Thank you! I was able to figure my homework out with this and also shared it with some members of my class that had trouble.
Absolutely amazing, thanks for the lectures.
Really superb... Keep posting...
Thanks for sharing!!
One thumbs up is not enough. Thank you for this 🙂
How do you find the position of g2 & g3 and h2 & h3 after finding g1 and h1 ?
What is the textbook being used ?
design of machinery by.professor Robert Norton
That was amazing!
Thank you! very helpful
So nice
Hi Carl,
Like your video's. Where are you teaching ?
Adrian Rankers
love it, thanks
thank you teacher
Sir, why are we considering C2D2 first and then C3D3? and then transferring the triangle to C1D1? why this sequence?
i aint reading allat
So helping
