Israel is a very prosperous country and more than capable of paying for it's own military. 2.Military aid to Israel is a security risk to the United States. Israel has been selling American developed military technology to China for more than a decade. These sales have been instrumental in the modernization of China's military. 3.Military aid to Israel is a diplomatic liability, 4, Military aid to Israel is illegal under American law. Israel's human rights violations disqualifies Israel from receiving military aid under the Leahy law and Israel's having nuclear weapons while refusing to allow inspections or sign the nuclear nonproliferation treaty makes aid to Israel illegal under the Symington amendment.

Israel develops more technology that is shared to the US than the US shares with Israel. America's support is mainly financial, part of it actually being the purchase of technologies. 3. Well, so is aid to Ukraine. I mean, deploying NATO troops is much more harmful to US-Russia relations than aid to Israel with any other nation. I mean, what country actually boycuts America for supporting Israel, even the gulf states no longer stand by Palestine - the 1973 oil crisis isn't going to repeat itself. 4. The Leahy Law allows the State Department along side the Department of Defence to declare which armed forces are in violation or not, meaning that the government is not in violation unless it decides it is in. Furthermore, Israel is not officially in possession of any nuclear weapons or nuclear reactors, making the Symington Amendment irrelevant.

The US does not. it's more like 17 %. That number can also only be used for certain things- mostly purchasing from the US.
