Absolutely well done! (Coming from a 76 year old MBA degree holder). I appreciate your getting right to the point with minimal branding info and unnecessary chit/chat.
The simplest yet the best excel tutorial ever! Kudos!

This is some top-notch content. I read a book with a similar topic, and it was absolutely incredible. "Game Theory and the Pursuit of Algorithmic Fairness" by Jack Frostwell
Thank QQQ Sir,

excellent
Thanks!
Thank YOU so much for saying "Thanks!."
Good stuff! One question, this function forecasts for an increasing value trend. What if there are dips in between and some seasonality, which function should we use then?
Can u please help me with this question..... You have a PIVOT for a data set of the range A1: H25, will changing the value in cell B:32 change the projections in the PIVOT?
@@srinagarmagazine9250 nope
@@misbahuddinathar4982 yes
@@srinagarmagazine9250yes, it will change ...but you have to refresh the Excel sheet.
How do we get the forecast chart after getting forecast/linear forecast cuz it says forecasting can't be created without two or more valid time/value data points
brilliant. Thanks a lot. Love and respect.
Bhai... Can u please help me with this question..... You have a PIVOT for a data set of the range A1: H25, will changing the value in cell B:32 change the projections in the PIVOT?
@@srinagarmagazine9250 yes it will be changed dynamically and if not then you may go to the Data Tab on excel and click on Refresh All. Then changes will be applied
So, the answer is yes, right?

Awesome
Hi, would it matter if you used months?
what if the value for B13 is not known yet! i used =forecast(F1, $B$2:$E$2, $B$1:$E$1) and it gave me the answer but that was only for including data for Oct and Jan while i couldnt include data for Nov and Dec..
Why is this video hard to find? the best video on this topic..there are shi*t tone of other videos getting a lot of views !
how do you know the percentage increase on your home value?
The house price known data was in $ round hundreds, so you might wrap the FORECAST in =ROUND([your expression],-2).
The savings account was opened with a nominal amount of $10 then did nothing for two years, so your forecast might exclude the first data line.
Thanks for the intro to FORECAST functions, I've not used them before.

Excel useful for (update existing previous year financial model)
How can you do that with the month?
Is the forecast method using linear regression /curve fitting?
Linear
thankyouuuuu
great
Does it work for the lotto?
Why does mine shows "N/A"? I have 3 years for known x and 3 values for known y, it can't forecast the 4th value for year 4 and shows "N/A" instead. Please help.
I use it to get a horizon
Is it mandatory that x value is numerical
nice
Is it possible to forecast a month based on days (for example, if we spend $1,000 in 10 days, how much money can we expect to spend at the end of the month)?
If you add natural disasters, traffic accidents, or unemployment then yes
what if ur asked to forecast for the next 20 data points?
Does this work on excel for mac
Is there any way i can use months(text) instead of year or date(number)?
Can u please help me with this question..... You have a PIVOT for a data set of the range A1: H25, will changing the value in cell B:32 change the projections in the PIVOT?
You might be able to change the months (if you have them as dates (based on format like 01/01/2022, 01/02/2022)) to "General" (in the Home->Number section) and that will give you a placeholder number almost. This worked for me as I was dealing with daily dates (and predictions based on that)
🙏🏻👍🏻
😊😊
Kin Excel 2019, this function does give error
How do I do it in months?
❤🙂👍
House value in London, UK doesn't follow the said forecast function, a lot of people are exaggerating their prices 😂
sorry im confused what function you used when you put the values. you skipped that part
What if you want to know which year you will have 160K $ ?
you have to use the future value function: just google future value calculator in google (dozens of different websites)
I like the function, but the forecast seems a bit off. $100K in the first 20 years, and only $40K growth in the last 15 years... I wouldn't sell my home.. :)
Which is the best forecast function in excel?
Actually, Big Tech DOES know your saving habits.
its not a "," but a ";"
DOESNT WORK
dis viedo not wokr at all, i vant you reconsider your life
your video was bad
❤🎉😊
