Got mine delivered 26.05.22 here in Australia. $23,000 on the road delivered 3000km to where I live. The present. conversion rate is 53p to one Aussie Dollar - About 12,190 pound
Hey Ben. I looked at one of these about 6 months ago for a female friend. It was prob the last with the old badges. I was very surprised with how cool it was, with the GT LINE package and the details. I also love the sound of a 3 pot. Kinda reminds me of a 6 pot. Cheers
I really like this. I like a 3 cylinder engine too and it looks great in yellow. As we've said many times before, it's hard to argue with Kia these days
@@PlanetautoUK Not 100% sure, but suspect it may be a decision in the design phase to put a them on every door so no further changes for left and right hand drive versions. Do agree though, that they can be handy (pun intended) for getting it and out, not just for scared passengers to hang on to.
Hello, I’m looking for a used low running cost fun hatchback car that really good on fuel for mainly driving in towns commuting to work & back, was looking at Suzuki swift sport 2018 engine & Kia Picanto GT Line S or Honda Jazz sport Navi as their all similar price, I know their different segment car, since you drove them cars how do you compare them and which one would you get & why? Many thanks 🙏
It’s all down to personal preference, as all three have their strengths. We suggest that you test drive all of them, and see which one suits you the best. *A
Great review, Ben, answered all my questions. Kia just gets better and better and this one will sell purely on looks. Add in brisk performance and good fuel economy - why would anyone buy anything else in this part of the market? So let's keep things cute and frugal and ignore the South African wide boy with his polluting abortions (look at whole-life emissions) and his 30% markups specially designed for the virtue-signalling mugs. Up yours, Musk - and God bless Kia.
It’s a car it doesn’t dictate fashion, and it’s distressed - Diesel, CK, Sainsbury etc have been doing it for years I drive our classic Merc in trackies and a knackered fleece we better call a town meeting. However I’m intrigued to hear what attire it does command?
You can order the door handles in the body colour if you dont like chrome. The red seats are ugly. The boot is too small and too deep. The yellow one looks like a mobile bowl of custard. It only comes in yellow, white, grey and black in 2023.
It’s essentially a 2011 design which has been refreshed etc. with facelifts and tech upgrades - hence boot never changing, also when this is discontinued that’s it, which makes sense colour options. It’s already been discontinued in some markets already. We love the Honey Bee colour though. *A
…and reviewers call it a city car, I think both categories apply, there’s no definitive answer like say Sportage SUV, therefore both yet air on City car, what are your thoughts?

Oh nice, they’re a fantastic little car, yes that sound is unmistakable, thank you Matt

They do seem to be doing well, don't they! They also announced that the Picanto is not going anywhere. *A
A very enjoyable review, subscribed.
the kia range has something for everyone in different power trains and specs. very good review as always :))))
They do, plus they’re always evolving, thank you Andrew
still no word on my kia ceed. take care all
Sadly you’re not the only one, watch out for the LIVE tomorrow 😀 it may just be up your street, thank you Andrew
I believe the reason there is no grab handle on the drivers side is because the driver gets the biggest grab handle, the big round one.
Ah, let me ask you this then, why do some manufacturers include them? As well as the one that spins.

😆 that made us chuckle, it’s a strange one, BMW iX has no grab handles, random as - thank you William
Totally agree about the chrome door handles . Look chatty .
Far slicker in black, thank you Vimto

VERY NICE SMALL CAR. IS THERE SUNROOF OPTIONAL?
X Line S in the UK features a sunroof, thank you Antonioe
@@PlanetautoUK I didn't think you could get a sunroof on the current refresh?
Not on the new ones, no, however the X did feature a sunroof, the sunroof is not available on any UK spec new Picanto
A cheeky remap will get it hanging with the 140bhp ecoboost fiesta.
That’s a crazy thought, awesome little cars, thank you Bryan

Chronic anger and envy issues, windae licker.
❤❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍

It's really not an old jeans and worn-out-pink-t-shirt kinda car, is it?

What on earth does that mean? Do you have to wear clothes to suit the car? 🤣
😆 it’s a strange old world Derek

In the same breath you called it a supermini, then a city car...it's most definitely the latter.
Yet dealers coin it as a Supermini…
@@PlanetautoUK I quoted your words.
