Fun fact, not only did the zippin pippin get saved. The antique carousel also got saved and got one of the best restorations I’ve ever seen on a carousel ever.
@@Noct31 I remember seeing the comments for the Airtime Thrills review of this coaster, and someone made this same comment. Chris replied something like "I should've made that joke (in my review video) DAMMIT".
I rode this a million times as a kid back in the 80's, at Libertyland in Memphis. Glad that it got a new life, and that today, people are able to enjoy it again, as much as we did.
I just rode this a few days ago not knowing about the Death Hill. It's such a fun ride. If I had more time, I would have marathoned it. Oh, also the cost of the ride is now $1.50. Still a deal.
Great video! I personally love ZP-as you mentioned, it’s truly a perfect fusion of classic and modern ride design principles. Both the coaster and Bay Beach as a whole are utterly charming-a visit to the park with a few ZP laps is a perfect way to spend a nice weekend afternoon without breaking the bank.
The death hill got me one of the first times I rode it and I was afraid to ride it again but I did and I braced for it and now it's one of my favorite rides glad I live close to it
Honesty, while I really enjoyed riding it, the Ejector Death Hill was easy the worst part of the experience. I love ejector airtime, but this was just a sharp punch to the gut without any enjoyment. I've ridden Magnum and Phantom many times, but those don't quite compare and easily the sharpest moment of airtime I've ever experienced. Otherwise a pleasant floater filled and rerideable coaster. My suspicion is that this moment wasn't exactly intentional but a result of the odd profiling required to rise above the train passing under that hill.

I wonder what Elvis would’ve thought of the ejector death hill.
He woulda been all shook up.
for realllll

The Zippen Pippen was my first ever roller coaster. And the death hill has deffinetly caught me off guard more times that I'd like to admit
I've watched plenty of other videos about Zippin Pippen, but this video by far had the most information. 👏👏👏
Babe, wake up, 0CR just uploaded!
This ride has some rich history! I’m so glad gravity group decided to take on this project
You are on every review of Zippin pippin 😂
Love this ride, also the best review yet honestly, covers all the history, good review of the coaster itself and more :)
Your Alive!
so happy to see you active again

another masterpiece. thank you for powering through the ungodly heat to bless us with it.
I rode the 3rd row like you did but I got so much more airtime in the backrow so I spent the last 5 rides in the back row
Another video from 0 Credits!!!
Always have to wait too long for a new one, and yet always worth the wait!!
Hopefully not anymore. :)
Thank you

I ❤ Wisco for Zip Pip and Hades (a bona fide shiz your pants coaster). Bay Beach and Lil' Amerika are as cute as they come. Great video! 🎥🎥🎥
The legend returns! Glad to see you back :)
I had a great time riding the pippin especially in the back seat
You and me on Magnum!! I actually just rode Zippin Pippin for my first time Saturday. I enjoyed it a lot!
Nice! I had such a great visit to the point last summer, I’m still really grateful we were able to meet up there.
