i am sorry but the train mention here is incorrect used in the movie.The correct train used in the movie was the R188 , the one with the first train car painted black and red in the front of car. As you can see currently in the nyc subway system , the R188 is run on these subway lines [ I R T ] ( 2 ,4,5 and 7 }
Ignoring what was said below your reply, that's possible. But, it has probably since been washed several times, and considering that it is now on the 6, then it was probably long gone by the time #2079 was transferred from the 7 to the 6.

The R188 is only on the 7 what are you talking abt?
R188 only on the 7 the r142a on the 4 the r142 on the 2 4 and 5
Only the 7 uses R188s. The 2 and 5 use solely R142s and the 4 uses a mix of R142s and R142As.
We definitely know they have all the R62AS on the Pelham 6 line now every sense 2013 2018 .
It's definitely not over yet on the Pelham 6 line.

Most likely cleaned as 2009 was 15 years ago.
