Cardinal Knight - PV

CARDINAL KNIGHT is a tale of young people becoming classic monsters and donning colorful personas to fight for their view of justice!
Cardinal Knight is a six year passion project inspired by Eastern Animation and Japanese tokusatsu shows like Kamen Rider. This trailer is a promotional opening/trailer created for Senior Thesis Project at UMass Lowell, intending to showcase the characters and the world. In the future, I would want to explore more into this series as either an animated series, a webtoon, visual novel, or an audiodrama.
The illustrations were designed drawing inspiration from Kisekae sprites, based on a Japanese paper doll program created by "Pochi". They began as hand-drawn sketches on paper, later scanned into Adobe Photoshop to be drawn over and colored. Credit for Pochi for providing the artist reference.
