@@Mrmcmilk Prices are so bad currently at stores, I just bought mine for 19.99 through Amazon and looked for curiosity my local store around 40 bucks, lol
I can see where you're coming from, but in my experience Viper Tail is absolutely goated. Is it the best? No, BUT it is consistent and fun to use. I love using Viper Tail 3-60T/F and that combo does a great job dealing with any combo I've dealt with in Hasbro BBX so far.
I genuinely love Tusk Mammoth, but I entirely understand the F rating. Great for casual matches among new folks I'm getting into the hobby because it makes for exciting and somewhat unpredictable battles.
What are your thoughts on Viper Tail 3-60 High Taper? It’s my personal favorite combo and I feel like it’s the only way to kinda make the gimmick work. It can outstam most attack, knockout most stam, and sometimes destabilize defenses if the gimmick works. It’s my favorite combo although it’s not the best
This was quite the interesting video, hope there's updates to it as Hasbro waves drop. And it seems that Taper is the modern take on Semiflat AND it doesn't suck. A far cry from the old days of Plastic (aside from maybe Galeon & Flash Leopard, it's not great) and HMS (absosmurfinlute ass, especially with the existence of Metal Semiflat) days. Didn't Takara recently release an unpainted Phoenix Wing? I do hope Hasbro does that for a Soar Phoenix recolor, because it seems like for both Hasbro and Takara, the original red one gets its gorgeous paint wrecked faster than the likes of Galaxy Pegasis (and other painted Metal Fight peeps) ever could...
Hey Zankye! Quick question about Beyblade X deck building: what’s the use of a bey in your team that’s meant for Attack vs Attack matchups (like Horn Rhino, Talon Ptera, or Steel Samurai)? Wouldn’t it be better to have a Stamina/Defensive bey like Arrow Wizard or Scythe Incendio, since they’d have more uses aside from just matchups against Attack types?
On a case by case basis depending on the blade, generally if you are primarily only good in AVA it is just to give something it is good at. Like Steel Samurai has no functional use outside of against only Attack / Balance VS Attack / Balance. Technically you could for an example run Helm Knight on Taper or Arrow Wizard if you wanted to max out on stamina. Generally it is just very dependant on blade if it is possible to do so, AVA is very complicated even writing in the database technically most things could work but to what extent etc.. it gets a lot. Though I can give examples writing the TT names for good AVA for stam/defense: Good: Knight Shield - > Round Shape Good Stamina Wizard Arrow - > Round Shape Good Stamina Wyvern Gale -> Aggressive shape and decent stamina Meh: Viper Tail -> Not really used on stamina aggressive and can be used on AVA for deflection hits. Knight Lance - > This is borderline a balance type design but it has a good shape for AVA just outclassed by Hells Chain because Hells Chain deflects better than Lance but decent stamina kinda died off but usable. Bad: Sphinx Cowl - > Poor stamina and inconsistent hits Rhino Horn - > limited stamina and weight crept Shinobi Shadow - > light weight
@@zankye Thanks for the info! That makes sense, at least some beys like Steel Samurai or Viper Tail can find uses, even if they're not the best uses. On the note of Hasbro names vs TT names, which names does the community tend to use?
When are we going to get a wave 2 tier-list? I am just getting back into beyblades since the plastic era with weight disk and plastic tips. My whole family loves it. Would definitely love a wave 2 list!
I just answered saying no, specifically because this isn't balance tuning focused on 1 point is not going to work on a 4 sided shape, if you maybe had a 1-60 that maybe was pushed and slanted to that very specific area, maybe? But that doesn't save the blade
But I have a question can you buy like takara tomy and hasbro Beyblade x and mix them like using a hasbro blade and a takara tomy ratchet or do I have to either buy on takara tomy or hasbro ? Or like this just that takara is more advanced ?

Hey zankye. I’ve been playing beyblades with my girlfriend since they released here in America. Each time either of us gets paid we go grab a new one and do battles together. I watch your videos almost daily along with some other UA-camrs. I know you’re super known and appreciated in this community. We were thinking of starting a channel so I was really interested in seeing if you’d have any advice on how to begin that journey. If you see this and have the time please let me know if you have any tips. I would really like to spread the love for beyblades where I come from as they aren’t that famous in my area
To be real I started this with my father over 10 years ago he passed last year August so things have been tough adjusting and maintaining the channel as is, If you want advice I would generally say try to have a decent phone or some sort of camera and audio, try to see what type of content you want to record then just try to see what unique aspects you have that others don't and try to capitalize with that, when you do content see how you can have a unique style in either content or thumbnails having inspiration in similar styles to others is fine consider majority of UA-cam is primarily like that and just be consistent as much as possible. There is no real secret to any of this it is just work best as possible and hope you can do well, hope this can help I don't have major insight even the top creators aside from some creative ideas here and there most people have the same type of content it is most personality for viewing.

I thought 'raw stamina' referred to the inherent stamina of the blade regardless of the bit so for instance something light and narrow like rhino horn would have very low stamina but something wider with more weight toward the outside of the blade like Wizzrod would have more inherent 'raw' stamina
I think in the context of here what I mean is that technically Arrow has the highest stamina, but Hells Scythe and Phoenix Wing have angry hits that negate what makes Arrow win via stamina.
@@zankyewhat things would smth like arrow do well against then? With really high stamina but not a lot of offensive potential to cut down the length of a match I imagine it would be really effective against stuff that wants to end matches fast like keel.

I think Vipertail on a balance type combo with a good mix of attack and stamina could be pretty good. Lile Vipertail 5-60 point maybe? I don't know I am not very good when it comes to competitive beyblade, I just really like Vipertail it's my favorite lol.

Unrelated to the topic of the video, can we PLEASE get an official scoring method for when beys go out the TOP of the stadium? Like, seriously. If it's gonna be a thing that happens...

@zankye so, new question. So far, Hasbro has released 60 and 80 ratcheting. But those were neither the highest nor lowest heights, as there were 5 set heights. Is it separated by every 1 centimeter? And would the lowest be 50, highest 90?
