Dude you explained it where a child could understand. I really appreciate you taking the time to film and post this AND it didn't take 30 or 40 minutes. I took the column apart yesterday on my lunch break (where my key decided it didn't wanna turn anymore) I took today off and am headed to get a cold chisel to get the bolts out and get allen heads to replace em. Hopefully a locksmith will be able to remove and repair the cylinder so my old key will still work. Thanks again brother 👊
GREAT video! It worked for me today 11/13/22. I have a 2006 Honda CRV and I did everything step by step as this individual suggested. I even replaced the bolts as well. This video saved me hundreds in labor cost. Thank you sir for doing this video. I am off to get the key programmed. God bless you sir!
Nice video. I don't want to screw around with an additional key so I am taking mine to the locksmith to rebuild the same cylinder and in the process save some dinero. . Just finished doing the same thing to my 2012 Civic which is more complicated. Wife is a 3rd worlder and can screw up any lock ever made so she keeps me busy.
I’m having this issue currently! Can I buy this part at any auto part store ? Any info on where to get a new ignition switch would be really helpful !!
