Quotes from Brendan, the singer. This song is about “the real time rolling back of humans intellectual evolution.” If there is one album where there are no skip able songs, this is it.
Love the new rules before posting, online comment sections are cess pools. Lawrence Arms are so good. They never got as big as I think they should have gotten. The album this song is on in particular is Amazing I played the whole album endless times in my car till it skipped like a schoolgirl
So true. I love the little hidden track at the end of the album this song is on. Where it was kinda a bluesy tune, then at the end it rips fast and hard.
Toby Keith had a song called Beer for My Horses and at the time was everywhere and he was in prime anti Dixie Chicks form. I think that’s where the reference is from. It’s an anti war song and lots of people considered TK “pro war.”

I really enjoy watching your reactions. One question, besides the failing "conservative punk" movement, do you know of ANY punk band who was pro-war?

The Lawrence arms are underrated.

True they are, but they still have a big and loyal fan base, I live in Chicago and you have to get tickets to their shows quick before they sell out
