- This is our tour and review of Grand Suite 1256 on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. There is a lot to show and discuss when it comes to this particular Grand Suite - check out the video and see if we would stay in this room again.
Great tour! Thank you so much for taking the time to create this video. Super excited for our stay in a few weeks!
You are welcome for sure! Have a great cruise.
Thank You for sharing I am assigned to this room for a July cruise
You are welcome! We are boarding Freedom this weekend for a weekender. Let us know if there is anything you want to know about the ship!
I am ASSIGNED TO THAT ROOM AS WELL IN AUGUST THANKS ALOT
Excellent…enjoy your cruise!
Cruises,-that's super sharig~ 👍
Thanks! I know...it was a long one...:)
Gotta admit, I'm a little disappointed in RC not taking better care of their suite-level cabins. Age is irrelevant. A decent maintenance crew could make that stateroom look like it was just renovated yesterday.
Also, remember folks, even though it may not feel like it at times, this is, in fact, a ship. One that floats on the water (hopefully) and is subject to the whims of mother nature. Thus, you'll find things like those small railings around the countertops and lamps bolted to tables, etc. 🚢
Yes…I agree these rooms should have some more attention paid to them.
No child safety lock...that is surprising and disappointing to hear, we are in this category of room with a 4 year old in a few weeks.
That’s really the entire ship. Just not part of the design back then.
Video a bit long but saw the Eagles hat!! 🎉
Yes…went a little overboard on that one for sure. Go Birds!
We are considering this room for an upcoming cruise... how is the noise level considering it is right below deck 11?
Hi. We don’t remember ever hearing any noise from above.
How did you get it for that price? How do you bid on rooms?
Hi - Royal Caribbean has a program called Royal Up, where you can bid on room upgrades. Wether you win or not depends on what additional room availability there is, how much you bid compared to others, etc. Royal has a pretty decent FAQ on the program here:
www.royalcaribbean.com/faq/topics/royalup-stateroom-upgrade-program
How do you bid
I asked the same question
Typically Royal sends out an email to the reservation owner if they have been invited to be a part of the program and the website to submit bids. I've seen recently that if you go to the My Cruises section on the Royal Website, that there will sometimes be a link below your reservation to the site where you can submit bids.
