Yeah you really want to optimize for the user - in this case the key stakeholder is your teammate and how the car is setup for all drivers :) if you look at pro endurance teams (with electric water pump), they run the water tube through the comms cable coil so that it’s literally all in one spot when disconnecting/connecting. My setup will probably require a teammate to head to passenger side to drop in the camelbak pouch.
Well for that price, you are not only getting a helmet but a beautiful piece of art work for your living room. At least until it gets scuffed up by getting in and out of the car 😂
Hey bro are you still around? I was really wonderinmg how your Simucube rig turned out. Mine is practically finished and I had a lot of fun with it since last time we communicated. I was wondering how yours went but now I noticed you are on a hiatus.
Hey! Yeah works been busy :( Simucube rig all set now - just did some TCR races this morning! I’ll try and post another vid soon. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime!
@@2trackminded glad to hear from you! I enjoyed putting those righs together at the same time. I will have to put a video of mine as well, where ghetto solutions meets high end hardware with some whacky stuff. Currently working on adding triples only because I can, even though I really enjoy VR. I have recently connected an arcade fighting stick to my setup, nice big well spaced easy to press buttons for VR, pressing keyboard binds was terrible with headset on, and I don't use my SRB BB Ultra attatched wheel much as I have been mostly driviing old manual cars with a nice MOMO deep dish, which means no designated wheel buttons. Bonus points that I finally got some hand brake solution using the stick itself from that arcade stick thing. Works great for now!
If you have an FN or a GT helmet, you should be able to use any visor with the YA- base. I have a GT and I use the YA800 and the YA802 depending on the time of day. I’d double check your model and go from there. I hope this helps, cheers!
M rated helmets typically have larger eye ports and therefore I wouldn’t recommend an SA helmet for that use unless it’s specifically designed to do both.
I purchased it locally from a retailer. I highly recommend finding a shop where you can try it on. Most of the pricing is very consistent across Stilo's distributor network.
for a guy with just under 500 subs the production quality is insane
How so?
The opposite tension for the comms cable was neat, feeling more free to pull and tug will make your pit stops that more confident

Very good video, thx! 👍🏻
Great video mate well done 👍🏼
GODDAMN this thing is FIRE
Great Video! How to choose between stilo st5 and bell rs7? Thank you!
I’d recommend trying both if you can. Comfort is most important!
@@2trackminded Thank u!
Great Video. I have the non-carbon version of the same helmet. Do the ear muffs make the helmet fit tighter?
It does as the material is a bit more dense vs just the pads
Dream helmet

The shield is ya807 or ya808? Thank you :-)

It’s YA807 - Medium Red
Nice video. Just wondered, do u find hard to put on the glass with st5? Trying to get one
Very easy, just 2 hex bolts need to be removed.
Can this be used for motorcycle riding ?
M rated helmets typically have larger eye ports and therefore I wouldn’t recommend an SA helmet for that use unless it’s specifically designed to do both.
What would be a cheaper quality option in your opinion ?
I personally would recommend the HJC AR line for affordable, light weight helmets if you’re just getting started.
Zamp.
where did you bought it, from their website?
I purchased it locally from a retailer. I highly recommend finding a shop where you can try it on. Most of the pricing is very consistent across Stilo's distributor network.
Cabon Fiba
😂
Nice helmets. But, $2K+. No way.
You can take the composite or the cmr version, for a carbon version this is the price, for every brand
