It's trading at $2.67 as I write this. I have made a few winners into losers by doing exactly what you mentioned here. It's up and going higher then it drops, bummer but it will come back, it will come back, it will come back then I'm red and didn't have a stop so kept saying, it wil, it will, it will but it never did. Have learned a lot and plenty more to learn. Have gotten about an $1,100 dollar lesson with a few that I did that with. Better days are coming! Really appreciate your sharing your vast amount of knowledge on this and love your enthusiasum and the way you present it. Direct and to the point.
This is my biggest flaw over the last week. Was up $1500 today and by the end of the trade I sold for a loss of $300. Thank you for the tip and advice. See you in the morning.

I'm getting better Tim! I stopped trying to day trade every day. Switched from a cash account to a margin account, putting myself under the PDT. That has forced me to swing trade more and pick my day trades more wisely!! BTW this stock is at $2.95 as of closing bell yesterday.

As i watch this video is around $2.90 and is so true100% as a beginner we try to push squeeze a extra dollar and end up giving back i m 8-1 in the last couple days playing with my 3 accounts its only $15-25 but its adding up thanks to u Tim yelling on the prep in the morning😂😂

Nice Vid. paper traded IMMX today premarket gapper had news FDA approval, i think. low float and with 1mil volume on the open. halts. i wait for 10 minutes i get fomo and buy in then it just tanks from 8.68. to 7.30. lost $1600. ended up scalping CELZ for about 1hr for $600 ... think i might just skip the first 10 minutes of the open for now and then scalp.
you could use statistics here ... like student;s t based z score for last observation ... if it is high negative time to exit ... observation can be log ratio of closing on a candle over previous candle closing

Worst =/- day of trading so far. What makes matters worse is that I turned a couple of winners into losers today, due to backing from the laptop instead of keeping a defensive eye out for potential 5-min candles. I'm here...again...because I was admittedly chasing greens (and even some "breaking news" today) at times, instead of letting the play develop.

i know this video is old but i've had profits and very nice trades turn into breakeven or even losers way too many times. All because i didnt A: Got greedy and overstayed and B: didnt respect my profit target and turn on me and C just flatt out not even having a clear profit target period. And honestly having a nice profit turn into a loser is worst feeling than just losing right away.

The 5 minute chart I use with vwap and longing I look for a nice distance from price to the line of vwap

At what minute during the 5-minute red candle formation do you commit to it being a red 5-minute candle and exit?
