I hope scream 7 will bring back Courtney Cox and Patrick Dempsey.
I hope he comes back. Seeing Sidney as a mom and as a wife will show a side of her that we haven’t seen before

I am confident Patrick will return. The fact he was in Thanksgiving gives me hope he will return to Scream 7
I said Patrick Dempsey will probably be announced before Courtney Cox for Scream 7. So if this is true, my prediction on this will be right. Maybe not the date, but the cast member. As for the plot of the script, I like how the story will be split in two and then combine the newbies with Sidney at the end. It almost sounds like a full circle moment. Bringing back to where it first started.

I thought him and Sidney being together was complete fan service.
No he was suppose to be in Scream 4, but couldn’t due to scheduling conflicts.
This should really focus on how much Sidney will trust and be honest with Mark or not especially if the children are kidnapped. Will she let her past ruin this new life she leads and the chance to get her children back? Will she suddenly feel like Mark is compromised knowing the state of police in today’s world and the events of 6?
I LOVE this idea. I really want Patrick to return as Mark Kincaid. Bring it on!

This needs to be done carefully and at a high standard of writing. I can’t stand the thought of all the corny dialogue in scream 5.
Hoping with Kevin directing he can help reel that writer in some. Definitely don’t want a repeat of writing from 5 and 6.

Hope he comes back, but they'd better not kill him off. Sidney has lost everyone. It would be in poor taste to kill him off because then she wouldn't really be able to have her true happy ending.

I would love for him to return! But I dont want him to be killed off!! They should subvert slasher expectations and give him a long epic chase scene (instead of a female) and we'll be in hyper-suspense as to whether Sidney will lose another attachment figure - but he survives

Would be great if Kincaid ends up being revealed as the surviving second killer from Scream 3, and has been right under Sydney’s nose the whole time
I don’t think they’ll kill Kincaid. Just because of how people will react to Sidney experiencing such a devastating loss again. They wouldn’t do that I’d hope.
As for the new cast, I have a theory that they’ll do a sort of retcon for Sidney and say she was already a mother in scream 4. She’ll have the two young daughters, but also atleast one older child around 17. Probably another daughter. That would raise the stakes a lot. Especially toying with her as being the killer. She won’t be, but it’s an interesting concept to explore and it feels natural for Sidney’s story instead of shoed in.
I would be really happy if Kincaid made a comeback in Scream 7.🖤It would be because of Sidney, because Kincaid would be an important part of this Sidney story. 🔪👻It would also be nice to see their children and they could also participate in the film in some way. It would actually be interesting to see how these kids would survive Ghostface's clutches.🔪🩸When you also think about this timeline, they are probably already in their pre-teens or teens, so that they would be strong enough even as children to be able to beat a killer like Ghostface like this. I just noticed that horror movies don't often show situations where children are put in dangerous situations, and even killing children isn't often shown at all for completely understandable reasons. Some writers don't dare to take risks with children and dangerous situations in horror movies. This part could at least have a little activity and dangerous situations for those children as well. At the same time, it could be a moment when they hear and see what kind of life Sidney once lived for five Scream movies before her children were born.🖤
I wish his character died instead of Jennifer lol. Or even the Jerry O’Connell boyfriend.
She has no chemistry with Dempsey and he survived for the hell of it at the time.
Bring back Josh Pais (Detective Wallace/Mark's partner) from Scream 3. His character wasn't really explored in that sequel, and I think it'd be interesting to see where he's at in Scream 7. Could still possibly be Mark's partner!

I wonder if Scream 7 will copy the same path as Maureen, and duplicate her death, so Sidney's children grow up without a mother, which would start a new trilogy. There is no need to go back to Hollywood.
I hope he returns and that he’s able to survive with all his experience as a detective. I also hope they’re able to stay together. It would be cool if him and Sidney could work as a team to defeat ghostface.
You can still have Courtney come back as she will always be important due to her involvement in the journalism arena and having written books based on the killings. plus her and Sidney are still friends. So i hope we get Patrick and Courtney.

As huge Scream fan, can I make a suggestion for a future video on this channel! Seen as you talked about legacy characters, what about all characters that potentially died on screen throughout all 6 movies but actually survived and brought back in future installments!

I'm sorry, but now they're just slapping something together to get something out ASAP so they don't lose momentum with all the publicity. Maybe they can pull something outta their butts, but I'm not counting the days on this one.
If Mark is back I need him to still be a cop with the same partner because his Scream 3 partner was one of the best parts of that film. I want that guy back.
I really wanna see Sids home life and the killer targeting her actual friends as an adult. That hasnt happened since scream 2

Is it a bad thing that I absolutely love this franchise, but nothing is making me excited for Scream 7 yet?
No. Your feelings are your feelings. That’s what makes everyone an individual. This franchise is giving you this as damage control and their last resort. Neve wouldn’t be paid this if people weren’t reappearing. This would not be happening if they just did right by Melissa. So it does just feel cheap and like an easy marketing ploy. And it sadly sets a precedent that if you fire a lead and on top of that, smear their name which is a first I believe and your fans learn you don’t like anyone being against genocide of 🇵🇸 children or just against 🇮🇱 government you can win them over afterwards with nostalgia many wanted in the first place.

Scheduling conflicts are the reason he's absent in that movie.
I dont want Sidney's family harmed. She has fought and defeated GF enough times already. It seems somehow unnecessarily cruel to drag Sidney back into all of this chaos. The character should either be left in peace or then just get killed off and end it all. The whole its-happening-again thing is so tired.

@@hididdleydeewasn’t that just the front of the script? That doesn’t confirm that the whole script is done. It’s possible it is, but if that’s the case then they’re probably just spreading out the announcements as to not give away everything all at once.
