Recently broke up with the gf, been watching loads of old Firebat videos to cheer myself up, especially the ones with Zalae, they're the best lol. Please never stop Firebat, your special brand of humour is fantastic and the only thing I watch on youtube these days lol. Keep up the great work, Firebat, Editor, and Zalae, I love you all.
Thanks man, it's rough but eventually I'll get through. Here's hoping I don't run out of Firebat x Zalae vids ;) I hope you have a lovely day today, I appreciate the love
www.twitch.tv/videos/158840589 I thought the vod was too old but after some digging I found it, it's a really good one, enjoy! (gameplay is kinda old tho)
After playing hoarding dragon for a while in my Highlander Dragonrattle Priest, it physically hurt to see it get picked against quest rogue. There are times it's just unplayable. You have to treat it almost like a tech card in some matchups.
Against what deck would it be reasonable? I ran it for a little while (with recruiters to play for free), and it was terrible against: Mage (especially quest mage), Priest (especially those with DK Anduin), and any deck with Gadgetzan Auctioneer. It was good against:
UmTheMuse the reason I use it is because it has good stats for cheap, counts toward priest quest, and is an activator for other dragon cards. I still may ditch it in favor of something else since there are already too many 4-drops in the deck.
Derpaboop Derp I already have all other cards so it wont cost me. I was thinking to play for fun at the start of season but netherspite is pretty valuable so im not sure.
She's actually moderately important not because of the card generation (although playing four operatives a game is a big reason to even play dragon priest these days) but because it makes playing out your hand significantly easier. It's pretty easy to be low on dragons and many of the dragons you want to play also want you to keep holding a dragon so historian allows you to turn one dragon into two and thus smooth out those awkward draws. More specifically for this list you can see that he has only six dragons (which honestly already sounds pretty light to me, although I guess cycling into combos is the main point here anyway) and four of those ask you to have a second dragon in hand when you play them, taking out the historian means that you're probably going to be left with a stranded dragon for a couple turns at least once every other game. So if you do go that route then maybe consider either adding two of some dragon you like (primordial drake might fuck up your curve too much but seems like the next best choice, plus has a lot of health for inner fire things) or just more card draw to help cycle through to find those synergies more consistently.
I wouldn't really want to replace historian. It's effectively dragon priest with OTK potential but the historians provide value as well as synergy w/ the dragon priest aspect. There are different OTK priest decks that might work better.
esteban embroglio skulking Geist destroys all 1 cost spells in both decks (including the warlock’s Dark Pact, which is what is commonly used to destroy lackey and cube. Putting reveler in the deck ensures that you’ll still be able to destroy lackey and cube reliably after your opponent plays Geist
esteban embroglio geist destroys the 1 mana destroy a friendly minion heal 8 spell. Reveler also destroys a friendly minion for 1, but does not get destroyed by geist. So even after a geist you still have activators for lackey/cube
stopped playing hs a while ago (big while) and from just watching videos i could never get how does the rouge quest really work. If this guy played his 1st minion he gets 1st tick of the quest but then plays a bunch of deckhands up to 4/5 quest wise and then those freezing 1 mana guys who dont tick the quest even thou it was the very 1st minion he played. AMERICA EXBLAIN
It "ticks" whenever a particular minion get a highest play counter. In simpler words, if you play two copies of Swashburglar, but then decide to complete quest with Firefly and play 3 copies of it, the quest will "tick" only when the Firefly becomes your most played minion. Even more simplier: it always keeps track of all minions you played, but only shows the one you played the most.
And FriendlyViewer (from the last episode) still didn't become your friend. :(
PersistentFriendlyViewer#2945
It’s an overlay
I think they put it in after the against all odds video where he had people with several variations of Nigga trying to friend him.
sorry, I'm a bit slow, that totally makes sense. Thanks!
Friendlyviewer really wanted to be your friend
Joeylinkmaster or he is an antiracist overlay
Every time a Cubelock get's smacked by One-Punch Man, an angel gets it's wings.

The Raptor's Claw you can check firebat's twitch too, there's a tournament vod casted by them where they just joke around for like 6 hours
Ah, sweet! Do you remember a rough date? Thanks though, I'll search for it lol

THE BEST PLAY FOR WARLOC IS TO COIN GIANT OUT ON TURN 3
prep coin mountain giant, 0% of the time it works 100% of the time.
Best strategy is to wait until you have less than 5 hp and then play molten giants for free. Pure value, especially against Razakuz priest
Gabriel Hornstrup kappa
Yeah

well it was only 80 dust so.. x)

For mill, yeah, I wouldn't use it
Hoarding dragon backfires me hard when opponent can kill it. The coin is just too good
That rogue is a master of concede.
tfw when you run anti-geist tech but its really anti-spending-dust on-rare minions tech
How could he be out of deckhands he had a 1/1 of it...
Swap deckhand with brain cells.
Yeah the rogue threw that game hard. Saw 1 divine didn’t play around combo, chose to freeze board instead of make 5/5s and kill board.
Is this deck worth playing without netherspite historian? Any replacement for her? Dont have the expansion and it is gonna rotate soon so...
adhklas alskdjas dont play any decks until the nerfs roll in since the whole meta will then change
Derpaboop Derp I already have all other cards so it wont cost me. I was thinking to play for fun at the start of season but netherspite is pretty valuable so im not sure.
adhklas alskdjas curious glimmeroot might be a good teplacement then
Derpaboop Derp Yeah, makes sense. Then prob lyra for last card Thx

I rock the 1/1 sac unit, hes good tempo against aggro too sometimes, sometimes put an egg in the deck.
that chicken beeping at the end there
Thank you firebat, and thank god for your editor
You should really post the deck code in the description of your videos!
Any solid replacement for the historians? I can think of a few but I'm open to suggestions
Shadow Ascendant, Mana Geode, Curious Glimmerroot

I feel like FriendlyViewer is a sniper :) something about his name feels untrustworthy
Greed feelsrealbadman
HORDEing is good tho.
so ive been out of the game for about a year... can someone explain how reveler is anti-geist tech? i dont get it.
esteban embroglio skulking Geist destroys all 1 cost spells in both decks (including the warlock’s Dark Pact, which is what is commonly used to destroy lackey and cube. Putting reveler in the deck ensures that you’ll still be able to destroy lackey and cube reliably after your opponent plays Geist

To word it a bit better, Geist destroys 1 mana spells, Reveler is a minion.
ah gotcha
Mah Boi!!! I come for the bat, I like and comment for the editor.
