Fantastic review of this bottle. It is currently in my basket and just awaiting to purchase it, as to my whisky nerd shame... I do like a Dalmore. I also like Port cask as well as think they should be rewarded for increasing the ABV. Cheers!
Thanks Jeff, one thing I didn't mention in this video is that the person who introduced me to this was Greg Glass, Richard Paterson's understudy and distiller at Jura. After I interviewed Richard, Gregg took me out to a bar in Glasgow and I asked him what I should order from the whiskies they produce...he said Port Wood...and I loved it so much, I jumped on a bottle when I got home. Excellent stuff. Cheers!
