1. I tried to play a Pump It Up dance machine in an arcade called Kid's Fun in Yogyakarta, but the panels were sticking and I lost my credits. I tried to play again in another location called Amazone, and the same thing happened. So I made this video:

2. Local egomaniacs in Yogyakarta (Rifka, Deeznutz, Erwin Dlinz) responded to the video by creating fake ALT accounts and harassing me on my socials and sending death threats lol. Amongst all of this, they accused me of modifying their machine without the permission of the arcade. I later released proof that this didn't happen in this video below. You can see all the technicians helping fix the issue in person and WITH their permission lol

3. The arcade egomaniacs in Yogyakarta continue to harass, making more alt accounts, making a bunch of racist remarks. When their lies were proved wrong, they decided to continue general harassment and being racist. They threatened me and told me that I should not go to their PIUVORIA event (a tournament in Jakarta), otherwise: "I'll be sorry". I went to their PIUVORIA event lol. They stayed in the corner of the room the ENTIRE event and said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, and hid away like mice.... Meanwhile, I was having fun and speaking will most of the community there. Total jealous losers lol. Erwin Dlinz was scared to lose, so he didn't even enter the tournament. He just sat their in his off-brand clothing (That he claims is genuine). All the negative attention they brought to my videos paid for my flight to that same tournament. That was some nice justice in the matter! lol

4. The tournament organizers (PIU VORIA) were applying favourism and putting their friends in mid-division categories. Two of these same people were 'Pro Players' from the Yogyakarta community. I sacraficed my entry in the tournament to ensure that these 'PRO' players were in the correct categories by pushing the matter. The organizers were a real piece of work, but when I create a public post to expose their BS, they finally put them in the correct categories. These same Yogyakarta PRO players were sandbagging, just to win money lol. The result: They lost ALL of their songs and went home with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

At the PIUVORIA event, many people apologized when I introduced myself in person. One of the key people involved: DeezNuts/Akio removed all his memes and racist comments from socials. The only three people that keep creating alt accounts are: Rifka, Toka and Erwin Dlinz. I blocked them on all socials, but aparently their lives must be so bad and pathetic, that I keep getting daily racist/BS messages lol.
I forgot about you guys a long long time ago, it would ne nice if you forget about me now please! lol. Jealousy only works upwards, never downwards!

All the arcades I’ve been to have been very expensive, though they still we’re fun.
I guess it's part of the new strategy to keep the business alive. In Europe, they are kinda dying, so they are raising the prices and using ticket-based games to try and turn a profit, because people have PC's and consoles at home, so it's hard to compete. Also, there are a lot less kids in comparison.
Freeplay arcades have been really successful lately though! Play as much as you want for one entry fee. It's hard to visit for just 30minutes, but it's better than nothing.
Some Pump It Up machines in Europe (Belgium, Czech Republic etc) are 2.50EUR for 1 credit (or 5 EUR for Premium). So 88,000IDR for 5 songs! ☠

In that panel you've shown there's one sensor with white wires. I guess it's chinese knockoffs, that is being sold in arcade spare parts store cheaper than official. We used them in arcade, but they tend to wear out much quicklier because of its construction and you know that by them increasing sensitivity until always being triggered. They're actually destroys themself by wires inside. Never had stuck gray LX sensors btw

@@vanivka that's a DDR sensor re-wired for pump. It works the same as a pump sensor. It's not a knockoff sensor. Weirdly, that one was fine. It was the inners
It amazes me how chill the arcades over there are about random people messing with their very expensive machines!
Yeah! It's a bit of a double edged sword.
Typically we'll ask to fix it if it's broken, or it's unplayable, like here.
But tweaking things to make it better (especially if there is an active community), isn't worth it because that generosity extends to almost everybody, and what work you did one day, could be erased/changed the next. Also, it's nice to be able to play on any machine (within reason)

People don't understand the concept of cost of living, what might be cheap for a tourist may not be for a local.
It's been tough for everyone in terms of inflation but raising game prices made no sense to me. if you want to make more money, raise the minimum top-up amount, change the bonus offers, change price of food. changing the price per play doesn't really help anyone tbh

I have a travel channel as well, so I sometimes get: 'its only $x, what are you talking about' comments, but it's typically from folks who don't even have a passport.
I haven't seen it in SEA yet, but what's quite popular over in the West is Freeplay arcades with a single entry fee. I don't think that would work here, but there are also specialist/niche areas where you can rent a single machine for x hours through a booking system. Some arcades only do that with their popular machines (or hacked machines with coin options stripped)
What you said would easily work. A lot of successful arcades are supported by food, drink and merch
@@s34nvideos Not as common in SEA, I wanna see eastern europe consider a freeplay system because it would be more affordable for the lower income folks and if theyre retro machines it reduces repairs since you don't worry about coin mechs.
As a fellow creative I would so buy arcade merch if my locals did that more

It feels almost the same way private ITG modding has gone in recent years (But usually those mods are for private locations where just 1 person plays on it. So I guess technically, they can do what they want and what works for them)... But seeing this in a public arcade was nuts!

Found these in very underrated Arcade near from my house and the speaker sounds crispy as hell like cooking something with a cooking oil on pan, there also some PIU music by Banya tho🫠
@@s34nvideos I'd say it's a 10-key version of Hypaa's Mozarc (Hypaa is also a Taiwanese game developer, many of their composers also work in Rayark a la Cytus fame).
Also, did you know that MB has PIU OSTs in it? IGS and Andamiro collaborated this together behind the scenes. (Sometimes, I wish DB also got the chance to extend said crossover during Prime 2015 days. But that's just me.)

Unfortunately the game doesn't work like that. It causes a lot of problems when the panels are too sensitive
@@s34nvideos What are the problems? As for me, more sensitive pad is good. We can use less energy to stomp. Otherwise, less sensitive pad need more energy. And impact to lifespan of the pad. Right? 😁
@@gradyhikary on the surface it sounds better, but there are a few issues.
If the surrounding arrows are super sensitive, then accidentally triggering them late or early will give non-perfect judgements. It's easy to trigger them because there is limited space for your feet when playing.
Secondly, the vibrations on the pad can trigger arrows alone. (I uploaded a short on this recently)
Lastly, and the problem with this pad: the arrows can get stuck in a pressed state. So you cannot continue to press that arrow until you open up the arrow and free it.
While it would work for a certain body weight and certain play style, this type of modding you would expect to see in a private location where that niche play style can be enjoyed by those limited players. In a public arcade, most people would not be able to enjoy the game
