Yup. It’s funny to me how CG and the PD always get the info they need from random snitches. Like when X blew up the gallery, some random was able to identify X who was wearing a mask and didn’t talk.

They’re not the cops, they’re not going to process you in the system and send you to jail. Like in rp it’s scummy, but if you’re a crim and hang around crims knowing who someone is despite a mask, or different outfit. Is not on the same level. The drive by grenade/C4 on a motorcycle is X’s trademark. It wouldn’t even be a stretch for anytime it happens in the future for police to list X as a potential suspect and try and question him

The text from X to Lang only proves they are talking about the Casino, they can't link him to being there as they never saw or caught him, but can conclude they were potentially working together. It would give them reason to keep an eye on Lang, other then that I doubt much will change at this point, maybe warrant for his arrest for questioning. Lang isn't stupid enough to send texts that would potentially get him in trouble. Yuno trolls a lot, but he knows better then to send information by text. Now Yuno or Tony calling Lang or any of the boys, connecting them would be a stretch as they live
(have keys) at the Manor together, so it wouldn't be unusually to call them. So all the PD gained was some info on how the heist works and they are messing with the backup generators. In the end I still disagree with the Subpoena for X, simply based of the fact he wasn't found in a restricted area. It would be the same as arresting any random civilian who was inside. I don't even know if they would have been legally allowed to search him unless he had a class two on his back or had like a positive GSR test.
X to the cops: Here is a pic of C4 Mr K has, he's been blowing up the power plant, trying to rob the casino.
X: How do the cops know to go the casino after the power plant is blown?
He litteraly told them this in the first days the blueprints were out, after two weeks of constant power plant explosions suddently they care about it
Point is same with the cg thing why now of all times last time they did it they never reacted like this
@@kingfulness Penta is 100% using meta info to know exactly when the blowing of the power plant meant the Casino was actually being hit. However, X opened the door in RP for them to “find it suspicious” in the first place because of him trying to snitch on CG.
Investigators have been showing up to the casino when they have enough units everytime the power gets blown

There's a limit to how much you can sue the PD for, its something stupid like 30-50k. So no, they wont be getting more.

Also warned them of possible raids that were coming which gave them the time to clear the casino stash in room 511 thats had all kinds of illegal shit for the heist. Problem with this pd have the meta about the casino that power outage equals to casino heist this will be annoying if pd try to camp the casino like when the lower vault was still new that when power outage the pd goes to camp the vault like before

Technically the texts didn't say anything about the city power, only the casino's own gen, so they shouldn't have a reason IC to camp the casino during blackouts. There was nothing connecting any of the boys caught to the c4 in the power plant.

I am just gonna say this if the casino heist wasnt unlocked to public they would never read their massages regarding them being in those rooms. And thats just a straight fax. Aside from the weird shit with the grinder and Wrangler, most crims would know not to text details about one of the biggest heists in the city. Now Cops have the meta unlock and it basically ruins the heist before it even started.

I see this take so much on here and on reddit. I honestly don't understand how people twist this to be JPs fault. Cranes reasoning for allowing the subpoena, while sensible IRL, has never been used before on NP. JP literally did terrorism arcs where he got caught and nobody looked through his texts to find out who his associates are. Why would he think they do now? Crane only wanted to facilitate the cat and mouse RP and thought OOC that those texts will not contain anything that burns the heist in the way it now did. It's unfortunate but you can't blame anyone really.

They’re investigating because these smooth brains have been blowing up the power plant and then flying over to the casino in the most obvious manner for a month. You can only expect people to play dumb to a certain extent before they can put two and two together.

A random guy went to the police station to tell Wrangler that a helicopter flew from the casino to blow up the power plant and flew back to the casino. Even though a few weeks ago this was happening five times a day without any consequences, this time PD decided to search the whole casino and unlock every locked door. They found a lot of people inside, but three people (X, Tony and Yuno) were trespassing in areas where they are not allowed. So police had a "hunch" that they must be attempting to rob the place. None of the three people had C4 residue on their hands, so police had another "hunch" that there are more people involved who helped to blow up the power. So then they subpoenaed the phone records of the three people.
CB was careless and PD a bit too powerful. Now casino heist is ruined :(
