BF1 was iffy, BFV was bad, and 2042 isn't even a game. Just corporate slush and an unfinished mobile game grafted on and disguised as a 60$, AAA tittle.
@@andreivaldez2929 Bf1 is a very good game, and I will gladly die on that hill. I now have a lot more time in it than BF4, even if I initially didn't like it very much. It has a lot of issues, but every BF title sadly has big problems that never get fixed.
I disagree with calling it a very good game, but I'll admit I had fun with it and it had potential to be the best game in the series imo. Guns felt punchy, destruction was at its best and actually provided opportunities for smart players, maps usually had good flow, and vehicles were strong against infantry but had the chance to be poked or destroyed by smart teams. All of that got put in the backseat temporarily by annoying game play decisions by DICE and those frustrating moments just ruined the game whenever they came up, especially when it was map design decisions (i.e. all the choke points I'm Ardennes and the large sections without cover in the desert maps). I get why people liked it, I did too, but I'll be reluctant to recommend new players try it out.

I'm afraid he's one of these people that could never really get into BF1 or BFV. It took me over 100 hours to somewhat transition from BF4, but now I have over 2000 hours in it and I'm not stopping any time soon.
@@Lefiath yeah, i understand that. After 3 i’ve skipped directly to 1. After that i’ve played 4. I’m now currently 100h in and still don’t think i’m comfortable playing 4. Sometimes seems to me that my aim is on point, but i’m missing most of the shots..
@@Daniel-bi5ci Just keep toughing it out man. BF4 is my first battlefield game and and I'm just a little under 200 hours now. Its rough getting used to everything going on and often I just get caught out during the chaos. Takes time to get used to something different.
@@Daniel-bi5cifor me, it was totally the opposite. 1 was actually my first ever bf game, and i liked it, but i was dogshit lmao. i went and tried 4 after a year and a half, and i ended up enjoying it a lot. weapon choices were less restrictive and there was a lot more variety and user-convenient features than 1. i still enjoy 1, but i feel like i perform way better in 4.

BF1 was the last one I bought because I just don't like the hand-holdy game design philosphy that they introduced in BF1 and seem to have doubled down on for every iteration thereafter. Battlefield V is pretty good now IMO. Like, its missing content like Eastern Front and Normandy, but the gameplay is very enjoyable now. I personally enjoy it more than Battlefield 1, with the gunplay and vehicle play. I don't really like the Skill Tree system, but the guns feel very good, as do the vehicles. The maps look good, and fortifications are nice. Solid playerbase. Overall its in a good place.
That's fair. I preferred BF1 over 5 but I think we can all agree that both, including 4, are in a better state than 2042. Considering how DICE is reportedly already abandoning it and already begun producing their next Battlefield game I don't think 2042 will ever fully live up to the hype their trailers put out.
I think the only reason they have Grenade Launchers for only 1 gun is because they knew it would screw up the gadget system...considering there's only one slot.
@@stevemc6010 That could be replaced with a foregrip, angled grip, or a bipod. But hey at least the rail is finally gone, I don't need to waste an attachment slot for some rail that allows you to put a grenade launcher on it. But that leads to problems...
Hey! I love your channel for the Yes or No videos on your BF4 weapons and that really helped me out in choosing the weapons I wanted to main for that game. But I've been playing a lot of BF1 lately and I've noticed you only did only two Yes or No weapon videos for that game, and I guess you couldn't get into that game much since there's so little content. It didn't release as a bug-laden mess. But it's also strongly influenced by milsim mechanics that slow it way down and a simply confusing control mechanism for some basic actions (healing in particular). I had fun, but I haven't been back since release day since I'm not interested enough yet. Clunky but fun.
Catching up on my battlefield trivia since I stopped playing since 2016, and this is the third channel I've seen today that was killed by battlefield 2042. The other two are AKA-ART and Matimio.
It's easy to make content when a franchise is hopping. But when the game is released like the video here, it's kind of hard to be a fan, let alone a content creator. Just too many garbage half-baked releases back-to-back-to-back.

Grenade launchers can be put on multiple long guns, even the LCMG and the TRG M10. The SFAR/SCAR just has it permanently equipped for some reason.

Hard to play consistently when half of everything is broken. It can be fun, but the game definitely needed a lot more time in development.
