Great vid, I hated having choices so I sold all my Canon and Sony gear now have the GR3x as my only camera and love the challenge of the fix focal length, the Jpegs are awesome. People will always talk about the negatives of owning a Ricoh but hey, I've got only positives to say.
I’m fortunate enough to have the GRiiix and Q2 - I use the Q2 way more often because it has an EVF. The screen on the Ricoh is unusable in bright sunlight which isn’t “fun”. I noticed most of your images were at night which is when the Ricoh really comes alive.
I had the GR3x and sold it. Battery life is crazy!! When you go out to shoot, you are never quiet, you always think about it is not possible. If Ricoh release a new GR4, and if it has: 1/ a good life battery 2/ a tiltable screen 3/ a viewfinder, I will buy it without any doubt.
I have gone back to my old Canon ixy cameras and they are a lot of fun. Sure the sharpness, dynamic range, blah blah blah is not there, but once in a while you capture the moment in a way that a high-end camera would not. Embrace the noise, the flaws and the blurriness.. its about the feels.
Cool camera but way too overpriced. I get that the magic of the camera is that it is pocketable and light but it's just too expensive for its performance level. If you're going to buy a $900 camera you could get the Fuji XT30II and that would just blow this out of the water in terms of performance.
You answered the exact reason in the comments as to why I don't want the Fuji XT30II. I am not going for performance. For someone like myself where I am in life the cost of this to get what I PERSONALLY want is just fine. But I appreciate your input.
Hearing Ricoh GR and budget in the same sentence is crazy…
Just subscribed. It was amazing listening to you talk so passionately about photography. Thank you
I love the mindset behind this camera.

is the dusty sensor a real problem? People keep talking about dusts getting into the sensor. Is it real or overblown?
Awesome summary. I feel the same about mine!
Dope video! Been looking for a camera like this for a while...Seems like a solid choice! 👀
I just ordered the GR3X, can't wait to use it. Like you, I'm going to be carrying it around everywhere documenting things.
Excellent reasoning. I want one.
Fantastic video content. I'll be keeping eyes on the camera and consider it.
Dope little camera!
Camera is dope
RICOH GANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG

Try a Olympus EM5 mark i, ii or ii, or EM10 any version as well, you will love them.

Hipster camera
Blessed to be able to live my life and have hipster cameras🫡
@@BigE hell yea brother
You're talking too loud!! Can't quite hear the "bckground" music

Like your Ricoh GR iii camera presentation, a great camera, however your F-bomb language needs some clean-up, dude! Otherwise, I liked the video.
Bro- you might be the first person Ricoh sponsors to NOT recommend their camera. Get yourself a used CCD and move along already.
Not a sponsor, I’m good my man, enjoy🫡
Don't see anything special about these pictures. Can buy an old CCD for $50 and it does better.
So do it. Live your life, I’m going to live mine🫡
No disrespect…. ^this guy doesn’t get it
Yeah until you want to print a larger format image. Always 1 karen in the comments.
@@iaido01 LOL, print this images? You are a blind bat.
Dynamic range without digital feel like iphone is the main selling point imo
Good video, but you need to sharpen yourself up especially, the language. You don't come over as a professional.
I’m not professional, it’s a UA-cam video, the fuck🤣
lol so much bullshit unsolicited advice in your comment section
@@BigEyeah, you got that right. You’re not a professional. In any field, if this is the range of your vocabulary.
