Yes there is a turn key and I understand that key will let me in the car, but how do I start the car with the dead fob. As normally in my other car I turn key on the side of the steering wheel and start the car and go home, but I don’t see that key slot on my Pathfinder. I guess I have to find a store to get a new battery depending on where I am or perhaps keep an extra battery with me all the time. Then again what if fob is defective too? After all it’s electronics. I called even Nissan, but they were not very cooperative. Thanks for help my friend.
I appreciate the information you have provided, but my question is what is the purpose of a key provided in the fob where does that fit in?
the emergency key unlocks the drivers door incase of a dead vehicle or key fob battery
