Steve wrote this tune. I find it very relaxing and colorful. A work of art in itself!

Steve Martin should put out an instructional banjo DVD. It would be solid gold!

She looks like Britanny Haas. She plays with Steve Martin and Tony Trischka on other videos. She really plays well. One one video she does a solo.

Thanks for getting this posted. Now I can finally take it off my DVR. I've been holding it there for one month and 4 days already.
Hey Tony, not bad. You've come a bit of a way since that long neck Christy banjo you had back in 8th grade.

It's tricky to do with picks on, but Doug Dillard does in "Dooley" for one. Whoa, Mule, also.
The thing about Steve's playing is that people always think it's a hobby, secondary to his acting. He was a banjo player long before he was an actor or comedian. He has serious chops!

Clawhammer/fralling is a three finger style.
It's invention is credited to Earl Scruggs.

Clawhammer/Frailing is not three finger picking. It is a down picking/strumming motion, derived from the patterns developed by African akontig and xalam players. Three finger picking is entirely different and existed long before Earl Scruggs; Scruggs simply brought it to a level of polish and popularity it had never enjoyed before.

Although It may seem like that. I think she's trying her best to include everyone. And if you met an actor as famous as Steve Martin, wouldn't you talk a little more to him? Not that you're trying to be mean, but we're only human. Plus when you ask a question on a talk show, you can't direct it at the group or else everyone will be waiting for each other to answer. I understand though it may come off that way (just my opinion don't kill me)
