हिमाचल प्रदेश जो देश भर में पयर्टकों के लिए पहाड़ घूमने की पहली पसंद है, बीते कुछ सालों से आपदाओं की मार झेल रहा है. पिछले ही साल यानी 2023 की बाढ़ में, 14 अगस्त को महज एक दिन में 57 लोगों की जान चली गई थी, और कुल 500 से ज्यादा लोगों ने अपनी जान गंवाई थी.अब जब फिर से अगस्त महीना शुरू हुआ, वहाँ बाढ़ ने फिर से वही उत्पात किया हुआ है. मानसून में पहाड़ों पर जब हादसों का दौर शुरु होता है,बागों में सेब की फसल लहलहा रही होती है, वही सेब जो हिमाचल की बड़ी आबादी की आजीविका जरिया हैं। हिमाचल प्रदेश में लगातार दूसरे साल आई इस आपदा ने ऐसी तबाही मचाई है कि शिमला, कुल्लू और मंडी जिलों में बादल फटने से 49 लोग लापता हैं और 4 लोगों की जान जा चुकी है.खेती से ले कर इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर तक भी इस बाढ़ के चपेट में हैं. यहाँ तक कि चंडीगढ़ को मनाली से जोड़ने वाला हाइवे भी इस वक्त ठप है. देखिए न्यूज पोटली की पूरी रिपोर्ट

In the flood of 2023, on August 14, 57 people lost their lives in just one day, and over 500 people perished in total. Now, as August begins again, the flood has wreaked similar havoc. During the monsoon season, while the apple orchards are in full bloom-apples being a major livelihood for a large part of Himachal's population-the state faces another disaster.
For the second consecutive year, Himachal Pradesh is experiencing severe destruction due to flooding. The recent cloudburst in Shimla, Kullu, and Mandi districts has left 49 people missing and has claimed 4 lives. Agriculture and infrastructure have both been severely affected by the flood. The highway connecting Chandigarh to Manali is also currently blocked.
