smoke pies...i drove up to scotland last week (we're moving up there next month) and decided to take a pic this tim, of, "smoke pies" and asked the question to my northern friends, what doe sit mean. ironically, it was a friend in southern california who found the answer! back in the 80s there was a bnad called the pies. they broke down enar that bridge and were bored, so decided to spary "smoke pies" on the bridge. drivign south, you wil lalso see another similar bridge with "the pies" painted across it. at this time, the band were pretty much unheard of, but over the years have become quite popular. if you search youtube now for "the pies", youll find some of their songs :)

AHH I've done nc500 twice, clockwise first time round then anti clockwise, clockwise is best 😊 I live in Hampshire and we set out for Scotland at 3am, to avoid all the nasty traffic in-between, made it to the border in 6hrs, it's always best to be up before the crack of dawn if poss lol! Its a mind blowing coastal trip, enjoy the rest of it! ✨ I seriously look forward to trying those cheesecakes tomorrow, Morrisons here I come! 😋

Vegan food isn’t like it used to be. Never heard of using jackfruit for chicken substitute! 🤩 I couldn’t afford to buy from these places but, question... is it easy to cook great vegan food at home? I mean maybe you could recommend some good vegan cookbooks/recipe books? I doubt Frankie and Benny would share their vegan chicken wing recipe but are there cook books out there that might have recipes similar to that or with unusual ingredients that are still easy to get a hold of? I’m so sick of propping up the meat industry. I love meat, but not how they treat the animals. I also love animals and feel awful that I eat them. Prepared to go veggie/vegan if possible for me. Thanks for sharing your journies ✨🌻
