I found my 1st Turkish Episodes on our UA-cam, home TV, last week.They are shown in 2 hr episodes, which I like. Now on Episode 7..."Bride of Istanbul is a masterpiece...The actors are perfectly cast, the story lines are phenomenal...Writers in my country need to "take note." ... I love Ozcan & Asli together. Fell in love with Ozcan myself & found a couple of movies with him in it over the weekend. "Second Chance", (enjoyed it) & Water & Fire (very good, but painful)

I just finished this entire series about 5 minutes ago...There are no words to describe how deeply my heart has been touched...I laughed, cried, reflected on my own life and was reminded to love, forgive, live, laugh, accept, improve, and never give up on myself and the ones that I love...Writers, Directors, Musicians, Actors and Actresses..You are the best. English translator thank you for your dedication and hard work. I highly recommend this series...you won't regret it.

This series is just the best. The story was perfectly written and acted. And the music is just so good.
Prepare to laugh a lot, cry a lot, be angry, shocked, emotional, love and hate all the characters at different points of their journeys...
No one character was perfect in the series.. they were just human. It is no fairy tale.
The love, romance and emotions can be felt deeply without vulguarity...
ENJOY! It is very addictive too so prepare..

I have watched other series with Ozcan and I can only conclude that his chemistry with Asli is very natural and phenomenal...
It is NOT forced. None of their other series and movies can compare to this one.
Fire and Water was a nice movie but that's because he is a good actor.
But him and Asli are just phenomenal together... All the actors were great including the babies and the handsome Emir!!
Lesson here for me: Love can conquer anything... The love demonstrated in the entire series was just beautiful and healing.
The bond between Faruk and Sureyya proved to be more than romance considering how quickly they married.
It matured with each battle....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Many stars for this series!!!

Let us just say, Hollywood has nothing on these genius and super talented Turkish series and drama producers and cast. I watch Turkish movies, series and drama-90 percent of the time. It is clean as well. its family oriented. I don't have to worry about profanity, sex, and innapropriateness. Thank you for the English translation.

I've watched it till the end. It's just amazing. Queen Esma is a world class drama queen, but I loved every bit. Sureyya is an epitome of grace. Faruq is a hopeless romantic. Won't mind watching certain episodes again. The English sub titles helped me.

I only watched Bride of Istanbul 3×. I tried watching other Turkish series but it's only this series rhat got me hooked. The casts were all good. They act naturally. But I love Sureyya and Faruk the most. They look good together. The story is superb. Learn a lot of lessons. Congrats to all of you. ❤❤❤ Wish there would be anothet Asli Enver/,OzcanDeniz series. 👍👍👍

Faruk seen sureya for the first time was something special for him and sureya behaviours are generous, merciful, thoughtful, brave and kind' I thought theirs nothing impossible with God to them.
If you just started watching, get ready for an amazing experience, full of life lessons: betrayal, humility, change, determination, patience, forgiveness and love. It is beautifully put together, with a great cast and brilliant acting. All 301 episodes are worth the time and towards the end after investing so much time and emotions ( you're guaranteed to cry, celebrate , laugh, change sides, feel compassion and on some days a deep sense of anger), that will leave you wanting more. Don't be daunted when the story isn't going your way, endure to the end. It is worth it!

Но не могу согласиться с авторами- зачем Дилару наградили такой печальной судьбой?😢 а Ипек наоборот - избалованная кукла, которая не заслуживает счастья, вдруг все поняла…не верю😮люди не меняются. И Адем- настоящий энергетический вампир. Актер хороший, но симпатий этот персонаж не вызывает, особенно после его действий🫤
Loved this series for many reasons, Ozcan is a fabulous actor on many levels and so handsome
and refined. YIKES! So many excellent characters; casting was spot on. One issue my friends and I had throughout the series was Surreya. Her role had depth; however, she cried nonstop which was unnecessary, waterworks for every little thing, what a bore! She played a mega know-it-all that was annoying for being in her 20’s! She was a serial hypocrite through the entire show. She was extremely jealous and was permitted to go off the rails for every little thing Faruk did and/or didn’t do and would constantly hit him or slap him for every little thing, always lecturing and insulting him; a major HAG! She was an awful wife, disappointing writing on her role. On top of it her hair was constantly dirty, oily with many unattractive hair do’s and cheap looking clothes. Always telling people how life is and what they should do never taking her own critical advice! She lacked class. But that hair and how it was so often dirty with ugly hairdo’s and poor Ozcan would have to constantly smell and kiss her filthy oily hair!! She often didn’t wear make-up when she needed it. She rarely looked fresh in her role. Otherwise, the writing was marvelous and storyline superb! Bravo!

But what they did in Istanbullu Gelin will never be found in another series.
They were not just acting roles.. They were so natural, harmonious and spontaneous which is why many viewers are addicted.
There are certain parts you can tell was totally not in the script.. It was just Asli and Ozcan living the story and not Faruk and Sureyya acting.

Just started watching this, not a big fan of Ozan Deniz but can't bear watching Esaret any more. Senseless psychotic torture of Hira by so many including Orhun (the man who claimed to be so in love with her????!!!) The writers of Esaret should learned to be more creative and learn from this Bride of Istanbul instead of recycling plots from Yemin and Legacy. We all live in hope????🙄

This is a beautiful and true love story with perfectly chosen characters. Witty humor, sophisticated screen writer with lots of twists and turns. The production and cast brilliant ... life messages throughout with great music. One thing that made this series stand apart from others is the therapist. I learned so much by listening to her ... actually gained emotional intelligence! I laughed, cried and my heart touched all through the 300 episodes which have English subtitles. This culture has depth of character which is sorely lacking in America these days. Bravo ... it's epic and a masterpiece! (warning: addictive)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm 2/3 'rds the way thru. This should be named "Parenting 101 --- or how not to". A-mazing for a Turkish series = minimal villains (or at least their intensity), enough bad guys to hate -- but these have redeeming qualities. Grrrreat character representation, amazingly well acted by one and all !!!!!! Times I'm sitting here with tears gently falling to the floor for minutes at a time over well played scenes, tearing at my heart strings. This is Definitely now in my Top 5 series -- vying hard for top place !! PLEASE, it's a relatively long series but so far 110% worth it. So refreshing from the evil, smack em down, tick you off, series they usually make. This is more about relationships and dealing with them and their emotional impact than anything else. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ stars !! 💗💗💗👏👏👏👏👏

I finished the series about five years ago and am watching again for the second time. Nothing better on a cold rainy night. Excellent story, cast and beautiful setting for the mansion. It's an adult story that captivates and transports the viewer into an another world!

@@OiseauXoxogulcemal and strawberry smell are also very very good. They have complete and good endings.. not all Turkish dramas have complete endings.. strawberry smell is a bit lighter ( romantic comedy )

Ipek Bilgin is excellent in her role as Esma she's up there with Hollywood, and English greatest. Ipek is the darling of Turkish Film's a phenomenal actress

It's good to watch the series on UA-cam. The first time I watched it was on tv dubbed in Afrikaans with English subtitles. Now I can hear the actors own voices, so cool. Great story, always intriguing n always looking forward to view more. Ozcan Deniz n Asli Enver make a great couple n their acting is superb.

The series kept me entertained during the sleepless nights of having to take care of my baby so I had to google the actors behind Faruk and Surreya. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with what I read. He is definitely not a Faruk Boran. However, it can only mean he is an excellent actor indeed. The actress, on the other hand, is not only beautiful and talented. She is also wise. Good for her. Nevertheless, the series is a must watch for those looking for meaningful entertainment.
Ozcan is totally Faruk if you pay attention...
He is rich, famous, handsome, cheated, emotionally unstable with a young pretty wife and a mother who disagrees with his marriage. He has one son with an ex.
I'm not sure you saw all the flaws of Faruk Boran. But that only shows you that he is as human as Ozcan.
Asli is also like Sureyya - She wanted something stable but Ozcan wasn't ready to leave his playboy life behind.... He regretted losing her. He looks tired now.
And yes - he and Asli are superb actors... You should watch their other movie "The Hidden Face"

I have completed the series with in15 days, I deeply affected by the characters, wow great actors, excellent story line, superb translation, iam from India, cultures, family values are same like here, I have watched all the series and movies of oskan iam great fan of faruk and Surabaya,.❤

one amazing true story, never cried so much over a series, brings things to light, about true life, learnt such a lot from this series, family life how it effects people, cant get it out of my head, all actors where wonderful, the end was wonderful so well put together, well done to all the actors and people that produced this series, cant put this down, here we go again x
My all-time favorite show 🥹🫶🏼 Such a detailed, well written, well portrayed story of all walks of life. Greatly realistic acting and accurate expression of emotions, amazing depth and development to each character, beautiful mise-en-scenes and sets, moving and captivting soundtrack that adds to every scene... I can go on. But the best thing about this tv series is the scenario, and the beautifully written story, characters and dialogues. Nothing seems missing or shallow. Great balance of romance, comedy, family-life, conflict, and drama. A roller-coaster ride to every emotion. A tv series I'll never forget. Very well done. Superb 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
