It is written that the 144 thousand will be only those of the last generation who will remain alive until the return of the Lord Jesus, because they being sons of light will put in darkness the sons of darkness who for now are wiser than the sons of light (Luke 16:8).
&So is clearly that Bible study is our only chance to remain alive until the return of the Lord, because only by being more enlightened than the AI robots will we be useful to God in the final armageddon that will end the armageddon started in heaven against the Sanctuary.
We can be surely that Satan's army will use artificial intelligence AI (which they see as being millions of times smarter than all intelligent humans).
It must be clear to us that AI servants will use the photo-theology of the Bible in more and more dimensions to fight against God’s army.
Therefore it must be clear to us that we will have no chance to remain alive among the 144 thousand if we do not begin to practice the photo-theology of the Bible in always more dimensions studying under the guidance of the Holy Ghost who remembering everything we read and meditating God’s word He will guide us in putting all the verses in perfect order.
It is clear that the AI super-intelligence will use the same phototheology of the Bible but for the purpose of ecumenism trying to twist the verses putting them in that perfect order which AI will see as necessary for the ecumenical union of all religions.
And so is clear that we will not have any chance to overcome against the sons of darkness who will use the AI super-intelligence when we will not be able to see all what will be twisted by AI and to see even the mis-ordering of verses desired by the ecumenical philosopher AI.
Armageddon has divided the heaven into two groups of fighters and therefore armageddon will be ended between two groups of fighters seen in the verses as:
Romans 3:4 By no means! On the contrary, let God be FOUND true and ALL MEN be found LIARS, as it is written: "That you may be FOUND righteous in your words and come out victorious when you are judged. (in Rev 14:7).
Revelation 14:7 He was saying with a loud voice: "Fear God and give Him glory, for the HOUR of His judgment has come, and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the fountains of waters!"
Unfortunately only few Christians can see the two groups of fighters in these two verses because only few study the Sanctuary to understand Hebrews chapter 3 and chapter 4 to be seen as saints in Colos 1:26 receiving God’s MYSTERY called CHRIST(Colos 2:2).

You don't understand that the 144,000 witnesses will be in the early part of the Tribulation period after the rapture. They all will be young Jewish men and all virgins These witnesses will all be winning souls for Christ but unfortunately they will all be murdered before the midpoint of the tribulation.
He does not know who the 144,000 are, only God knows. But everyone of the 144,000 will know they have been chosen, the prelude to the song of angels will always play in their heads, they have seen the beast, fought all temptations, attacks and won, they are the true, faithful and steadfast believers, spiritual gifts come to them, and they will have the voice of Jesus Christ giving them advise.

I know who they are and that he is wrong. The number 10 = Completion the number 12 =fullness. The 10 "Virgin" Brides = ALL Christiandom The 12 x 12 x 10 x 10 x 10 = ALL Israel (Fulness x Completeness). Where do the Jews repent and when? In Zechariah 13:8-9 says that 1/3 of the Jews Repent, AND 2/3 do not repent and will perish. The very next verse, Zechariah 14:1 says BEHOLD, the Day of the Lord has Arrived or come. The Jews are the Wheat Harvest, the Gentile Church (mostly Gentiles) are the Barley Harvest which did not need a TRIBULUM (Look it up) because Barley doesn't need to be CRUSHED in order to be sifted, the Wheat has to be CRUSHED via the TRIBULUM to be sifted. The Greek word tribulum is where we get the English word Tribulation from. Thus the Church is ready to be sifted WITHOUT the Tribulation period, we are the Barley Harvest. The Jews still need the tribulation to come unto the Lord in full.

The WHOLE CHURCH, so why is it the Church can be both male and female when represented as a Bride to Christ, but the 144.000 who are all supposedly Male Virgins can't be a Repentant Israel? Which, as the Virgin Brides does, stands for all Jews, both male and female.
The 144,000 isn't a real number ether, two things make that apparent, firstly, God doesn't designate a certain perfect number, he accepts all who repent, just like the 10 Brides represent ALL Christendom or 2 billion people, the 144,000 represents ALL the Jews who repent (Zechariah 13:8-9 says 1/3 repents, thus its 3-5 million Jews). Thus they are male and female. They are designated Males because they are Married to God already, the Bride of Christ has not yet married, Jesus. The Jews were God's firstborn so to speak. We Gentiles were grafted in later via the SEED of a Jewish Sacrifice, the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
Secondly, 10 is used for the Bride because it stands for COMPLETION. But 5 of the 10 are left, thus others from this Gentile Group come to Christ during the Tribulation. The 144,000 are represented by both 10 (COMPLETENESS) and 12 (Fulness) because they will repent during the 70th week and they are the COMPLETE & FULL numbers of Israelites whom God will save.
Thus we get 12 (FULNESS) x 12 x 10 (COMPLETENESS) x 10 x 10 = 144,000 or ALL Israel who repent.

The 144,000 is from the twelve tribe of Israel, while the other group, the great multitude is from every nations, tounges. The 144.000 is the first fruit, while the others the second which is unnumbered. This is not a symbolic number. The eight people that were saved in Noah's ark; the 12 disciples, the 120 apostles at Pentecost, and many others could mention, all of which is literal numbers👍.
After 2022 years, shouldn't we know decisively what it means by now? Why do we have to pray for an answer? God never says anywhere in His Word that the Bible is a mystery that we have to try to solve over 2022 years. It was written and given to us to understand on day 1...yet 2022 years later we've turned it into a mess of confusion.
I completely agree & Our Abba Father Creator clearly uses numbers and patterns in His Divine Intelligent ways of communicating to humans, to reveal hidden coded messages, to verify other verses of scripture, pattern is prophecy and each verse has multiple layers of dimensional meanings. I'm right there with you brother. What I do know is giving up on Christ isn't really possible once we know he exists. Keep your head up, lean into your Bible, and just know that God is God. Nothing is to big for him, nothing surprises him, he knew what would happen before it happened, and still sent his son knowing these things. Hold tight to his words, and know there nothing that can separate you from the father's love.
Your relying on your strength to resist. Daily as the lord to help you and deliver you from whatever your struggling with. Never give up. It’s not about you being perfect. It’s about not giving up. Read. Read read your word. That’s how you fill up on his spirit.
Take your mind off of self and renew your mind in the promises you have in Christ!! He wants you to be able to come forward to the throne of grace and to BELIEVE that you are forgiven!! We are to renew our minds and that brings us the peace that surpasses all understanding and there we look to Christ as the Anchor of our soul to bring us into fellowship with Him. Make sure you are born again and baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Also get deliverance. Let people lay hands on you and cast off those demons. Struggling is normal but the Father will make sure we hear fruit if we're truly born again

@thegoodguise yes but your salvation isn't dependent on works. What James is referring to is the fact that true faith will be seen through works. Only way for someone to walk with the Lord is to have the spirit, thus signifying putting faith in Christ. Through that obedience can be practiced but not until.

Everyone's view on this is going to depend on their eschatological position. Ultimately, it is not necessary for us all to understand these things and agree.
Scripture says exactly who they are. It shouldn’t up for debate based on eschatological positions. They are the Jewish remnant Paul talks about in romans 11. Isaiah 10:20-on mentions them too. Rev 14 calls them virgins and first fruits. This is a direct reference to Jeremiah 31, hosea 9, and psalm 68. They are the preserved Jewish remnant that fled to the wilderness. Numbers are not figurative unless they are specifically applied to a prophetic mathematical formula. Math is gods signature.

@@malakotfoster2206 when it refers to a timeline there are two formulas in scripture sometimes used: one is in Daniel 9 where 1 day is 360 days or one Hebrew year. And the other is found in 2 Peter 3, psalm 90, and revelation 20 where 1 day = 1000 years. There are prophecies where these formulas are used specifically for timelines. In fact where these formulas don’t apply God usually uses multiple ways to express the timeline. For example the final 1260 days of the tribulation is not to be confused with another formula. It’s literal days. So he also expresses it as “42 months” or “time, times, and half a time”. Same thing with the 2300 days in Daniel 8… so as not to confuse it with the formula in Daniel 9 he specifies evenings and mornings. God uses math as his signature. It was his signature on Jesus first coming and his death, burial, and resurrection in conjunction with Jewish feasts laid out in Leviticus and a timeline laid out in Daniel. He’s doing the same thing for his second coming. If you read through Old Testament there is an excessive use of numbers and numbering to the point we have a book called “numbers”. Everything means something. When a-millenielists allegorize numbers they’ve absolutely overlooked and missing out that a literal 1000 year reign of Christ on earth is a key clue to as to the timing of his return.
The 144 000 anointed ones are Kings with authority over the entire earth (Angels). Jesus is our King and the 144 000 are our kings too. The 144 000 are Jesus disciples. Both men and women. They are bought by Jehovah from the earth. (pure spirituality- never been corrupted by false religion) They have to remain faithful till death. They sacrifice their life to preaching about Jehovah full time and they worship only the True God. Helping others learn so they can make it to paradise is saving someone's life. That is salvation! Jesus is Salvation and the Kings are too. That is why we teach about INHERITING everlasting life (Never get sick, grow old or die) because that is Jehovah's promise to us. We need to be humble. Not everyone agrees with us but the righteous and unrighteous will get resurrected it says so in the bible.

Also you cannot earn your salvation, it is a gift from God, not from earned by works or by leading people to Christ. We lead people to Christ because the gospel is the truth, we don’t want to see others have to go to see others go to hell, to honor God, not to earn our way into heaven. And lastly, the 144,000 are not salvation, only Jesus Christ is salvation. The 144, 000 can’t take the punishment for our sins.

If a thousand years of the Lord's reign is what is written, then it is. If the Lord rose again after 3 days is what is written, then it is. That’s not necessarily correct. You have to differentiate when you’re looking at a historical record in the Bible, like the creation or the rise of Jesus after death, and when looking at something like a prophecy or a vision of the future.
If everything the Bible says was literal, Jesus would have been a powerful military leader who took over the world, but instead he was a servant who died for us.
Revelation is full of symbolism and things that aren’t meant to be taken literal, it even says it multiple times and explains multiple symbols.
Michael Johnson it wasn’t and can ever be directed at The Revelation of St. John of Patmos. Same as the book of Daniel when he interpreted dreams. But mankind of this day and age, especially certain Churches, have an “interpretation” of what they think, just about any part of scripture, “really” means. I take the historical and the direct words of God without any hidden, “interpretative” meanings. I take it all at face value. There can be no ambiguities in what God says. Yes Jesus used metaphors so as to make his teachings into stories that could be told from father to son and so on. Not many could read in those days so the way lore was taught was as a story that was easier to remember for common peoples...
If you read the 144,000 are also to be kings with Jesus.
They are anointed..people like the apostles..and first century christians..they are also called the little flock..compared to the great crowd..in Rev 14..they are a special chosen select to be co_ rulets..
They are not to multitude..and it is not symbolic..the great crowd is unnumbered..but 144,000 is numbered.

The 144,000 is a literal/actual number. Study Matthew 27:52:53, 1 Corinthians 15:9-20 and Revelation 14:1-5.
They are the first fruits of Christ’s resurrection.

Could the 144,000 be pulled collectively (as of God choosing) any individual (meeting Rev 14 criteria) from Jesus’s resurrection back to Adam? Reminder it has always been and will always be by faith according to our father Abraham.

@@chadmiller8877 what I’m saying is the symbolic representation of the number described in the video is a more likely interpretation. The book of Revelation is apocalyptic literature and is a book filled with symbols . This does not mean we don’t read it as true or literal . We read the literal symbolic meanings . The same would go for the 1000 years on Revelation 20 . If you read that as a literal 1000 years then why is it not a literal dragon bound with a literal chain in a literal abyss with a literal lid or seal over him? The vast majority of Revelation is taken from Old Testament language and needs to be interpreted likewise .
Also the literal approach tries to read the Revelation in chronological order as it unfolds .. if you take a closer look there’s a series 7 cycles each ending with the Victorious Christ who redeems His people . The Revelation is a book filled with hope amidst the trials and tribulations of this world and was written for the encouragement of all believers in every age .
Professor Robert L. Thomas wrote regarding the figure 144,000 mentioned at Revelation 7:4: “It is a definite number in contrast with the indefinite number of 7:9. If it is taken symbolically, no number in the book can be taken literally.”-Revelation 1-7: An Exegetical Commentary, page 474.

I would say that by the time John gets to the end of the revelation of each symbolic time line he's referring to a time not yet come and a trying time to yet expect, one that will not be easy and one that puts you at a cross road where choosing Jesus is a penalty of the first death but not choosing Jesus results in the second death (the death of the spirit)

Even though I have the utmost respect for the SBTS faculty, I have to admit that there is really a lot wrong with Dr Schreiner's interpretation. Would any normal person interpret the text this way? As the wise old saying goes: "When the plain reading of the text makes sense, seek no other sense, lest you end up with nonsense." As one Bible scholar once succinctly stated: "If you get Israel wrong, you will never get eschatology right." This applies to Dr Schreiner's views in this case. A few short comments:
1) “Meta tauta eidon” (“After these things I looked”) introduces new revelation, information, or a new vision that is distinct from the previous one. It is therefore grammatically untenable to tie the “multitude” in 7:9 to the 144,000 in vv.5-8. "Meta tauta eidon" always indicates a vision distinct from the previous one. When “meta tauta” is on its own, it is not a new vision, but a next event or happening in the vision.
2) It is said of the "multitude" in 7:14 that they did not come out of the church age, but “out of the great tribulation.” They suffered and died during the first 6 seals. The 144,000 in 7:5-8 come out of the 12 tribes of Israel, whereas the “multitude” in 7:9 is taken out “of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues…” (out of the the great tribulation!) and it is impossible to read this as descriptive of (or symbolism for) the 144,000. It also makes no sense to use a definitive number (144,000 - consisting of Jews exclusively) as symbolism to describe a multitude that is innumerable (consisting of non-Jews and Jews). Three more comments: (a) Why are the 144,000 (in Rev 14:1, 3) not called a "multitude" in these 2 verses? Because the multitude is not the 144,000. (b) Rev 14:4 clearly indicates the 144,000 were ALL male virgins and if this is not literal, then who decides what it means? It means they were all male virgins. Are you telling me the multitude in Rev 7:9 from all the nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues were all male virgins? Really? (c) Rev 14:4 also indicates the 144,000 are the "firstfruits" to God. The multitude of Rev 7:9 clearly does not fit the use of the word "firstfruits," but they fit well the idea of being the harvest.
3) Yes, the Jewish tribal records are no more, but surely God still knows exactly the constituents of each tribe, and is well able to select 12,000 from each of the 12. And as 12 X 12,000 = 144,000 is it not incontrovertible proof that this must be interpreted literally in a straightforward manner? (And we certainly know that Israel always consisted of 12 literal tribes).
4) There are many possibilities to consider the absence of the tribe of Dan (beginning in Gen 49:16-17, Judg 18:27-30, 1 Kgs 12:28-30 - and even their later reinstatement in Ezek 43 and 48), but even though God does not reveal all the reasons for excluding Dan at this point, it certainly does not justify disemboweling the plain and literal interpretation of the text.
Really, there are far better and easier ways to interpret these texts, without such elaborate and gymnastic leaps that jolt my conscience every time I hear them. Sorry Dr Schreiner, but I think you need to seriously reconsider your interpretation and beliefs in this area. The way Amils treat the text requires the name of Revelation to be changed to the Obscuration.

I live in Sweden so I'm not the Southern Seminary, but I am currently having an incredibly long discussion with a Jehovah's witness and I see the same kind of arguments being used - the list of tribes is different and Dan and Ephraim are not listed, therefore symbolism. What on earth is the logic in that????
I pointed out to the JW who tried to sell that argument that there is a perfectly good reason for this. Some people point out the fact that Dan and Ephraim went further in idolotry than the other tribes and were rejected for that reason. However, while that may play into it, I think there may be another reason.
We can read about the twelve tribes of Israel in Genesis 48. In that list we see that Levi and Joseph are present. Then later on when the land was to be divided between the tribes, Levi was not included due to the priestly duties that the Levites were to do. So the list was restructured, with one important thing that needed to be maintained - there had to be 12 tribes, not 11 or 13. Levi and Joseph were out, and Ephraim and Menassah were in.
So if restructuring the list of tribes makes it symbolic then that would mean the list was symbolic when the land was divided. That's how much sense their argument makes!
Also, since the tribes listed in Revelation 7 are under the New Covenant, we can expect and understand the reason for yet another restructuring of the list to occur. In the New Testament we are all kings and priests. There is no longer any reason to exclude the tribe of Levi. And from then on it is up to God to restucture the list as he sees fit - just as long as there are 12 tribes listed. No symbolism needed in other words.

The book of Revelation is indeed a mystery. I was fascinated by it when I was 12. That was 46 years ago. John the Beloved was given this Revelation on the Isle of Patmos. He was a different type of disciple as we see in all of the books in the Bible that he wrote. God seemingly set John apart from the other disciples as the beloved. To me he seemed the most humble of all the disciples and God did give him grace. Jesus said to Peter and then it was said among "the brethren" "If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?" It will be amazing to be a witness as I believe we who are in Christ will be able to see to the end of this age the things of Revelation come to pass. What a glorious and awesome God we serve!

I agree. When the elder said to him in the vision, behold the lion of Judah who is worthy to open the scroll, I am sure he expected to turn and see a military warrior, but it says he turned and saw a bloody lamb that looked like it was slain. He saw something different than one would have expected.
I think this is the key to the 144k people that are later marked as being protected from the wrath of the lamb. It says he heard the people numbered from only the tribes of Israel, and they totaled 144k, with 12k from each tribe, but what he saw with his eyes was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language. Maybe not what people would have first expected.
I think these people marked as being set aside are simply people that chose Jesus and followed after his example.
They are the little flock..with a promise to be kings with Jesus..they included the apostles and most of the first century Christian's...

It seems to me a lot of theologians use "symbolism" as their go-to when they haven't gone in-depth enough into scripture to fathom out what or who something is. Throughout end time prophetic scripture we gain insight into who they might be. In some areas, we see the Lord with His holy ones, or saviors or elders and we seem to clump them into some unrecognizable group or the remnant. But when these groups are seen with Christ, in the coming end-time revelations throughout prophecy, then it leads us to question when Jesus returns as accepted through taught theology. Is there a climactic return with his holy army as a final return (yes), but is there a mixture of prophecy indicating Christ returns before He is seen in the clouds in Revelation 19 preparing the remnant for exile or their return? Yes, that is revealed to us as well. Did not Paul receive a visit from Christ on the road to Damascus after His ascension? Is Christ somehow prevented from previous visitations upon His earth because it destroys the narrative we have been told - Christ only returns as the 19th chapter of Revelation reveals? Will He not be revealed in clouds or the cloud of glory when the trumpet sounds and the bride is caught up to Him before that great and terrible Day of the Lord? Sometimes I think there's almost a laziness when symbolism is used in this way instead of truly searching out scripture and meditating/reflecting longer than just coming to conclusions based on an accepted ideology that fits within the parameters of accepted theology. When a highly respected man, based upon his own intellect, comes to a conclusion and it becomes ideology and passed down through the centuries, I do believe God will grant the gift of discernment to dig deeper and allow scripture to reveal the truth even if it destroys an accepted theology with us through the centuries through that gift of discernment given to some. I admit the possibility I am wrong, and the 144,000 are symbolic, but we seem to disregard some areas of scripture and miss the connections with John's Revelation or other scripture. The word is all connected and every verse fits into the revealed mystery of God, who He is, and His plan for His creation. We will only know when we know as we come to the full realization of Christ within us.
In revelations it mentions that when the Devil is free after the 1,000 it said he would he let out for a little bit. Now this little bit isn't know to us. In conclusion all numbers and any absence thereof in our spiritual texts are significant and precisely done on purpose. Much Love.

Revelation is confusing but i heard a man say it's written 4 different times in 4 different ways and i noticed at chapter 7 it starts over and from what i know, the overcomers are the ones who don't live by the 5 senses won't go through the test but thoughs that say they are overcomers but have no evidence will. and so from chapter 7, it mentions 144,000 servants of god, these are the ones who say they are conquers but have no evidence and in the next chapter it says they appeared in heaven and one of the overcomers asked the head, who are these in white robes, referring to the ones who say they conquer but don't. and the head responded saying, 'these are the ones that died in the great tribulation, they have washed their robes in my blood' And so that shows they went through the test and only the overcomers were raptured and if servants took satan's mark, they weren't really a servant and only the real ones will appear in heaven to serve in the holy temple. Then i noticed thats when the seperation of the sheep and goats come in and no wonder why its AFTER the testing. and then the rest of the chapter just mentions the destruction of satan's government system.

The 144,000 know who they are, spiritual sons of God who will reign with Jesus from heavenly Mt Zion.
They are not literal Israel, neither are they the original 12 tribes.
These ones belong to the Israel of God, " really Abraham's offspring," made up from people of all nations who have accepted Christ:

Just as there is one literal Jesus Christ and 12 literal apostles the complete number of king priests who rule with Christ, Revelation 5:10, is a literal 144,000, beginning with those original 12.

as a number that man can count. . It is a distinct number made up of 12,000
From 12 Tribes then there is a great crowd that no man can number. So if the 144,000 was symbolic why would it be able to be counted and the other crowd not wouldn’t the 144,000 be as well a random number unable to be really counted as well there is a clear distinction here between what is countable or literal and what is not.

When David took five stones or the number of bundles that bowed to Josephs, 120 years to preach prior to entering the ark for seven days prior to the rain or maybe the number of times Jericho was Marched around or how many times a certain price was paid there are many instances of calculations in money gold or silver. Go anywhere for any story pertaining to Gideon’s army the Assyrian army, The men in the fiery furnace, The seven stars or seven candlesticks the Lord described in his hand, The seven seals on the outside of the scroll or the seven trumpets.

Numbers are used Literally hundreds of times in the Scriptures. I have noticed a pattern and a trend in Scripture that when numbers were given they were actual literal correct accounts and not symbolic.
Precision was accounted for in the building of the temple in the building of the ark down to the number of animals placed in it.
I believe if we let God speak for himself and the Scriptures speak for God and his character and past historical record demonstrates the accuracy and use of numbers representing a literal account Was done hundreds of times.

Biblical numerology is key to understanding the book of Revelation. 12×12 equals 144×1000 equals 144,000. 12 signifies the 12 tribes and the 12 disciples of Christ. When multiplied together you have a complete covenant of both Jews and Gentiles. And 1000 represents a long time of multiples of generations to come.
With one problem. If it is as you wrote, and both 12 mean what you say, and 1000 literally means what you're saying... There's no way the World is gonna be around for that long. From purely genetics perspective. So I disagree with your reading into the number 1000

The whole Book of Revelation is a huge, symbolic metaphor. There is no "literal" or time-bound meanings. The number, 144,000, is a symbol of perfection and universality. Christ-likeness is the Key.
You know, I thoroughly enjoyed a lot of these answers but that’s what one I’m gonna have to disagree with. Much respect to the doctor for being honest but from a more literal understanding and reading of scripture I find it very hard to believe that even though in the New Testament believers are called the true sons of Abraham and the true Jew argument stands, OT and certain NT scripture talks about God redeeming Israel and I don’t think there is much biblical basis for the contrary other than twisting things to fit your narrative for the church for filling all the promises made Israel. When I read the promises made to Israel specifically, it seems to me that God in the new heaven and new earth will redeem and fulfill those promises. Otherwise, it could said that God would be a liar
Edit, 10 months later: through actually this video spurring on my interest into delving into covenant theology, biblical theology and other matters, I’ve come to the conclusion from my reading of scripture and dissection that the Scriptures teach that Jesus was the fulfillment of true Israel and Jews and Gentiles who believe in him are the true Jews. There is no more need for a new temple, separate destinies for ethnic Israel and the church and other things that dispensational Theology propagates. And yes I am in agreement with Dr. Schreiner that’s 166,000 as a representation rather than a literal number. So for everyone in the comments, I hope this helps :) God bless

You are correct! The 144,000 is literal. The 144,000 are also the Elect The Lord is referring to in Matthew 24. Man is always trying to explain away that which we can’t understand. The church or BRIDE of Christ will never replace Israel. Those false teachings should have been silenced and abandoned in May 1948 when Israel became a Nation again as prophesied. The fact that Israel has won every war since their rebirth, ‘against all odds’ should prove to the world that The Lord is still with Israel and will always be. Some of the first century AD Christians were raptured also at what sounds like the time of just before the temple was fully destroyed 70 AD but some of the Christians fled to Pella also. Rev 12 the woman fleeing into the wilderness sounds like the flight to Pella.

A number of years ago it was argued that the Jews would never return to their ancient homeland of Judea and Samaria because they had been scattered among the nations (read what Voltaire wrote about this) However, today, not only have the Jews returned to the land but they also speak their ancient language of Hebrew. My point is...what's impossible for man is not impossible for God. What man cannot understand does not, in any way, negate what God has said. Revelation 14:3-4 is the answer.
I believe they are a prophetical figure that represents a specific identity. Only those things that are freely given to us by God are made available for us to know(1 Corinthians 2:12). These are events that are yet to take place in the future, and God is surely keeping it from our knowledge. Even the apostle Paul admitted that he didn’t know everything there is in the prophecy. He stated that “For we know in part, and we prophesy in part”(1 Corinthians 13:9). There are things in the prophecies that God is keeping from our knowledge because the time for them to be revealed has not yet come. One example is Revelation 19:12 which says “and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, *THAT NO MAN KNEW* , but he himself”. Now, who do you think is one so stupid enough to do a research to know what that written name is? But then further down in the last chapter, we read- “And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads”(Revelation 22:4). So only then if you can wait until the end when that thing is stick in your head that you will come to know the name of God.

Hello! Just wanted to share some information/reflection. During the time of the first coming, was anyone able to understand the old testament prophecies before Jesus? Nope, not until they were fulfilled through Jesus. God said in Isaiah 29:11-12 that this prophecy was sealed (understanding not available) and that it would be opened/revealed (understanding available) at an appointed time (Hab 2:2-3) which was the time of Jesus' first coming. What exactly were people not able to understand from the prophecies? The realities of their fulfillment, which was why many Jews did not believe in Jesus. The same is said for the book of Revelation. Rv 5 says that the sealed book at the right hand of God was opened through Jesus, but keep in mind that this was only a vision given to the apostle John. This means that the reality/fulfillment of it did not happen with the Apostle John, so the book was still sealed. What does this imply? Unless you know the realities of the fulfillment of Revelation, you are not able to understand this book to its entirety. Remember, the Pharisees, Teachers of the Law, and many other Jews had their own version of who the Messiah was going to be. They never pictured it to be Jesus. Just something to think about!
Below is the actual testimony of the fulfillment of Revelation and is available chapter per chapter. I know it is very difficult to believe, but it was also difficult for many people to believe in Jesus at the first coming.

Please recall that thousands of MALE Hebrew/Israelite/Jewish babies were killed in anticipation of the births of both ‘The Deliver of the Hebrew people’, i.e., Moses AND ‘The King of the Jews’, i.e., Jesus. Being killed as babies would mean they are virgins and are with the Lord right now! They are preparing for their great work!

I agree. Most people haven't a clue just how much of the Bible's insights are completely symbolism. The majority of it doesn't translate as actual history. The scholars, those who are actually reading/translating the original records, know this all too well. You all should check out Dan McClellan's channel. He breaks a ton of this kind of stuff down, and gives great supportive historical references for such.
Revelations is confusing but i heard a man say it's written 4 different times and tonight i noticed at chapter 7 and from what i know that the overcomers which is the ones who don't live by the 5 senses won't go through the test but thoughs that say they are overcomers but have no evidence will. and so as i started reading the first chapter mentions 144,000 servants of god, these are the ones who say they are conquers but have no evidence and in the next chapter it says they showed up in heaven and one of the overcomers asked God, who are these in white robes, referring to the ones who say they conquer but don't And so that showed that they went through the test and only the overcomers were raptured and if servants took the mark of the beast, they weren't really a servant and only the real ones will appear in heaven to serve in the holy temple. Then i noticed thats when the seperation of the sheep and goats come in and no wonder why its AFTER the testing and then the rest of the chapter just mentions thedestruction of the beast system.

You know the curse about taking away from or adding to the Book of Revelations. These 144,000 will be evangelizing and an angel will also be evangelizing so a lot of people will be getting saved and not taking the mark of The Beast.
I know one man .well to see he believes he,s chosen as 144000.he says he dropped dishes and called out father .in aramic ABBA or yabba .not sure just heard the story ,but know the man to say hello to .I'd love to pick his brain

Now I need you to show me where it says that 144,000 will be evangelizing? the only thing mentioned is servants(translation may vary), but other than that there is no mentioned of the 144,000 evangelizing, now it clearly says in chapter 14:6 that an angel is the one who will be evangelizing (I am surprised you noticed that) the 144,000 are the remnant of Israel, in the book of Isaiah God says that not all of Israel is Israel, it could be symbolic but it is for sure (my opinion) the remnant of Israel (Judah)
