I wanted to be clear that I wear makeup how I want to make myself happy. In no way did I mean "do your makeup this way to make men happy." My husband loves me regardless of how I wear my makeup. I simply made a statment that guys love this type of makeup and its funny because in their minds they think its "natural" when its not. That's all.
OMG does everything have to be a scandal!! Desi I totally got what u meant the first time I thought it was cute and funny as hell people just want to add extra drama to their boring lives I love natural "ish" makeup lol and lots of it and I know your hubby does too he's married to a makeup artist but I know u don't wear makeup to bed he loves you no matter what ! Ok I'm rambling pt. great look people look for anything they can to start drama grr xoxo!! My boyfriend fell in love w me wearing tons of makeup and I knew he was a keeper when he didn't run screaming when I wake up it's scary lol luv u!!

Ok guys, so the Tarte foundation came in a 6 piece set that was sold on qvc. I guess other than that it's not available for individual sale for 2 months. I'm sorry I had no idea. I got it in the set.

that's a hell of a compliment! but just to prevent confusion from anyone else; by makeup s/he means foundation/concealer, etc (hence why they said "good SKIN"). No need to get defensive.

thats the internet. It makes me sad because I love for youtube to be a community where people can come together and just learn from each other but so often people want to tear you apart and knit pick at everything. I take in the positive more than the negative though.
Desi Perkins And that's part of why I enjoy your videos so much! Honestly, people need to just stop with the negative comments and allow youtube to be what you just described. It already is (I've learned all of my few makeup skills from girls like you, Chrispy, Jaclyn Hill...) and that's a great thing. I have no one in the real world to bond with over makeup and that is exactly why I get so excited when I have my hour or so a day to relax and check youtube! So thank you for doing what you do, how you do it and never letting the negative affect your performance!
Likewise. I find Desi to be relatable too & all her tutorials are fantastic. People can be so ridiculous for no other reason than their own unhappiness with themselves. In the words of Manny Mua, "if you don't like it, don't fuckin watch it!"
So today I followed this tutorial because I wanted a no-makeup makeup look. When I got to work a random person tells me "your makeup is on point"! Thank you!!!! (Flips hair)!!!!

This is the absolute best "natural" makeup tutorial I have seen by far! It really does look like you aren't wearing any makeup but you are so glowy and fresh faced! LOVE it!!

every beauty blogger says so many good things about the anastasia or the the ben nye banana powder, im so freakishly pale, that when i apply my banana powder under my eyes i literally look like a banana
Dude, I feel you! I have to use an almost white powder under my eyes to brighten up at all. You could try the ELF loose powder in yellow. It's hardly pigmented once you apply it which for my skin is awesome. Plus it's only like, six bucks (US) on their website
I'm pale too. Try the Cameo shade. It's just as brightening but it's not banana or yellow toned. It's a more neutral to pinky shade.
When yu lighter skin yur NOT meant to use the banana colour! Coz like u said yu will look like a banana. Yur meant to use the pinky/light powder next to it. Try that I'll guarantee it should work.
If you've noticed most of them aren't as pale and either fake tan or are already tan, the pale beauty bloggers I've seen that use banana powder usually have yellow undertones. I totally get what you mean though I can't use the banana shade either.
They advertise it as its a "universal" shade when really, it's not. Yellow doesn't look good on EVERYBODY cmon now 😒

Trust me I do what I like and makes me happy and my hubby is ok with that, but sometimes I like to do more subtle looks because I know he loves it.

I have moderate acne it's not too bad I just have extremely oily skin.
Joyce De Kort if your a teenager your gonna have acne due to hormones. Go to your dermatologist found that Murad t zone refiner serum really works effectively for me but it's super expensive.

use warm browns with a sienna undertone. Warm tones make green eyes stand out really well:)

I would do my face like this all the time of my skin was as good as yours I still love your "heavier" looks for lack of a better word but personally I wish my skin was this good so I wouldn't feel the need to wear as much makeup as I do :(
