Crazy things is I’m going thru this now. My brother was recently murdered and his mom is making it like he was just an angel. Mac Dre pioneered the Hyphy Movement and put the Bay Area on the map. He was ultimately killed by a rival in KC in 2004, in the midst of his prime. Had he not died he would’ve been BIGGER than E-40, Too-$hort, Keak Da Sneak, Andre Nickatona, Mistah Fab, and the other names in hip-hop from the bay. He is a certified California legend and would probably be the most famous rapper to EVER come out of the bay if he was still with us. Check out “Feeling Myself”, “Since 84”, “Grown Sh*t”, “She Neva Seen”, “Get Stupid”, Early Retirement”, “Boss Tycoon” “Dipped When They See me”. The man’s discography is crazy.
