I'm checking in from Long Island NY aka Strong Island NY home Rakim, EPMD, Public Enemy, Dela Soul, Biz Markie,, Craig Mack, Prodigy from Moob Deep, Keith Murray,, Jim Brown, Doctor J, Danny Green, Roc Marciano and countless others. Dope story I grew up on all the iconic West Coast MCs and MC Eiht from Compton's Most Wanted was always my favorite West Coat MC. I still play Late Night Hype to this day. Dope story .
@89onuphomie alot of people appreciate what you & BJ are putting out some history of what was going on then hopefully young ones can take to heart what you and BJ gone through and maybe take a different path or realize before it's too late I ain't built for all that . Solid work on building your platform
Peace and respect to you brother I just wanted to pay my homage to a very great episode and wish you much success with your channel! And let me be honest...I have seen a few of your podcasts since you been out but never really paid no mind just based on your affiliation,I'm 46yo; But watching this episode here made me realize my bias ignorant views on things are very adolescent and unfair,to say the least. But long story short , I just swallowed my pride and subscribed to your channel and have reevaluated my approach on perspectives and I wanna say Thank you! my brother! 💯 For giving me the epiphany that made a life changing positive effect on the way I look at things. I send Love support and Success homie!🫡🤜🏾🤛🏾💯 ONE LUV✊🏾🔴🔵☮️

I rumember when the big homie David aka "Quik" straight uP #BangedOn Aaron aka "Mc Eiht", during that DeathRow performance (in NY) years back, of the DeathRow vs BadBoy days. Glad to Pee they both worked it out years later, within the "Kali Iz Aktive" video! #RIPTupac #RIPQueenAfeni #RIPEazyE #RIPBiggie #RIPDMX
That evergreen street is a trip! I remember that street when I was a kid walking from highland elementary, which seemed like a long ways from school, when u that young. I stayed on hyde park and beach at them charcoal gray apartments, with the blue trim. My homeboy, stayed on evergreen and it seemed like a mission walking to his place in 93-94. 😂. Them was the days man. I miss them days!
@@KevinJ-o9c on the real that street was something else in the hood I remember when tako moved over there we shut it down for a minute lol good ole days though no matter what
