Imagine a 6way mvc2 match
SonPlaysMinEcraft DB FighterZ will have a 6 player mode. And seeing as Infinite will only be 2v2 its as close as we are going to get.
Ok since 4-player mode is official the bigger question is: Why couldn't this be in MvC: Origins?

People would use it to spend less money or (if you need 2 coins to play two players at same time) complain they spend more coins to play less.
Right when the character select then started playing, pure nostalgia flowed threw my body. This really bring back memories.
Arcade sticks are recommended for arcade-style fighting games. Regular controllers don't always work.

All the MVC and other tag fighting games should have a 4 player feature.

XBone has it as well. Just wish I had other friends who'd be down to play

I'd have to take two buses going to college for a while, and at the station where I'd catch the second bus there was (hopefully still is) a comic shop that had an arcade in the back. After browsing or picking something up I'd head back and kill the long-ass wait by playing MvC and catching up on all the time I never had to play it growing up.
I miss that comic shop and I miss this game.
Let's go crazy. This is the best MvC. Good music, characters, combos, everything.

best thing of this Cross Fever mode is that not only the Hyper Combo gauge automatically fills but also the Variable Cross has MORE time to use than normally do in normal battles, to make the Cross Fever battles more brutal lol

Ryu in this version can transform into ken or akuma, it just costs a super meter and they have their moves. Half circle back and medium punch gives you Ken and half circle back and fierce punch gives you akuma.
they seriously need to bring bakk cross fever mode with online play in MvCi and i will consider grabbing it

Thumbs up if you want Marvel vs. Capcom to get a PS4 release with trophies, GGPO online, 4 player mode, trophies, remastered graphics, unlockable secret characters (not needing the code all the time), etc.

I guess you don't follow Marvel related news and missed the comments from Capcom about Marvel Infinite involving "Characters aren't characters, they are functions" and "Modern Marvel fans don't know who the X-Men are"...
Long story short: Marvel doesn't have the movie rights to the X-Men, FOX does (They were going bankrupt in the 90s so they sold off the movie rights to other companies. EXAMPLES: Sony got Spider-Man. FOX got X-Men). Marvel doesn't want to promote characters from the X-Men in ANYTHING because they don't have the movie rights. Marvel wouldn't allow Marvel VS Capcom to be re-released because it has Wolverine and Gambit in it...who are popular X-Men characters...

@@BrayanGomez-jq6nz Regullary you have to do the common circle command backwards and press L and R triggers; but using them for this is a bad idea since triggers are too hard to sync to press them both together. So is better to change this command at the controller options. My advice is to configure it to use the X and A buttoms . You will realize is really easy like that.

Is there a way to unlock the secret characters to show up in the CSS without the need for codes?
Well, in the PS1 version you could unlock the secret characters by beating arcade mode with specific characters. (Ex: Beating it with Mega Man will unlock Roll)
what about in the dreamcast version? Cuz the PS1 version lacks too much of the team mechanics
The only bad thing about this game is the fucking random assists. I remember, after playing MSHvsSF for almost two years, this machine dropped and everybody was playing it, but the random assists was something that everyone hated, besides that, this game is fucking great and awesome until this day.
You could pick the assist character you want in PS1 version. Though, I'm guessing that was added to make up for the game not having a tag feature.

I'm guessing limitations. You couldn't tag in the PS1 versions of X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter either. You could tag in a mode called Crossover mode but you could only do mirror matches.
Cartoonguy133 Wow, how strange. The ps1 don't have too many good fighting game ports, I remember the KoF having loads that lasted for a whole minute! I'm glad that I played the arcade version of these games and not the ps1 version.

Mugen features a 4 player simultaneous battle all the way through, you can add the marvel 1 characters and just beat each other up in true chaos.
I still don't know how to even activate the simultaneous infinite meter mode. No one fucking documents anything about Cross Fever.

Technically, Apocalypse and Onslaught count as the last Marvel character in their respective games, despite being bosses. Half the series bosses are Marvel, Abyss and partially Ultron-Sigma being the exceptions.
