  • Hello guys and gals, it's me Mutahar again! This time we revisit one of the strangest events going on this year. One of the largest aerospace companies known as Boeing has been having a rough time with the quality of their planes and the safety issues that have cropped up. This is now the second whistleblower that has passed away at great convenience for Boeing, let's revisit and see just how bad things are getting. Thanks for watching!

Meaning even if it was sawed off his arms had to be in such an awkward position to not only hold it but pull the trigger backwards with his age and body weight making it all the more impossible to do so. I actually work in non-destructive testing and have worked on automotive and aerospace projects before. 100% inspection scope is extremely rare and both almost never required by law, nor economically feasible. Some things like welds have, depending on location and use case an inspection scope of about 10%, which basically is just a test to see if the material is okay and the welders know what they're doing.

    I actually have personal experience with MRSA. Long story short: I got a staph infection, that turned out to be MRSA. The infection got so severe... that it entered my bloodstream. From there, it went straight to my heart. I had an on and off fever (for three days straight) that got as high as 108°F. I spent three days in an ICU (and two days in a recovery room). I spent most of my time in the ICU resting/sleeping. I had a resting heart rate of 150 bpm. Thankfully, I survived the ordeal. Also, that infection (plus every other bad thing I went through), are things I view as unique "badges" that make my life more interesting!

  • @syoung4471

    I'll explain what MRSA was like. My husband got two spider bites. One in his back and one in his calf. These were from a hobo spider ( cousin of the brown recluse). It started off with the necrotizing of the flesh where he got bit ( he had to have it cut out in the office). He ran a fever of 105. He was on 2 different antibiotics. The first was a sulfate based and the second was a rare one for gram negative bacteria ( they put him on the 2nd one after 48 hours when he still was running a fever of 105). My point is, you don't not know you have MRSA.

It's not very fatal and as an emt, most patients I take from nursing homes have had it in the past.

      Part of the issue is one of scale. When you say if they'll be held accountable, do you even have a clear picture in your mind of what that would look like?
      What should happen is that first the police department in the area, best case scenario even the FBI should examine the deceased. They should then try to establish if this is likely to have been murder or suicide, and try to establish if there are any suspects. If they did their detective work properly, they'd likely be able to actually work out what happened. The Boeing aligned defendants would then be prosecuted and put in the electric chair.
      Now, neither of us probably had that in mind until one of us thought it through for a bit, and that's part of the issue of scale. We as a society have to remember what our means of administrating justice are and then have that be applied.
      The actual problem then is we both assume that the police department will just rule this as a suicide and will not go to step 2 of the proceedings and establish any potential suspects based on motive etc. But why? Partly because we don't even know who the sheriff is that this case has gotten assigned to, can you name him? No, nobody can, but more importantly, nobody is even thinking about him, nobody has considered that we should know his name. The public just views the administration of justice in cases like this as some amorphos thing that's removed from the regular reality of normal detective work.
      We may then ask, why do we assume the police will fail in this case? Partly it's because the specific people involved will not be held accountable because nobody even thinks about thinking about them, and partly it's because there are clearly powerful moneyed interests who can sway them. This is where an organisation like the FBI could and should come in. It'd be good if they had a department that looks for cases like this, where there's suspiscion that there might be potential suspects that are powerful and regular sheriffs might be swayed, and take on those cases. Best case scenario, the people could also be informed of the specific agents working on the case, and be kept up to date on their investigation. It could be like a real life crime show, win win for both justice and entertainment. However, this isn't happening.
      In short, imo to hold powerful evil people accountable, there should be additional departments added to federal and national crime fighting institutions. There should also be more transparency into government institutions, which is an issue in many other ways as well.
      As for "when will the evil be held accountable", they are being held accountable. Common criminals are arrested every day, it's just with corporations etc that the issue lies.

    I'm in the manufacturing sector and my company does produce several aerospace parts. There is a lot of paperwork and redundancy when it comes to Quality Control and it would be highly unlikely for bad product to make it through without any negligence or "pencil whipping" of paperwork. There may have been systematic issues that encouraged either lax/rushed inspections or cheaper manufacturing plants providing sub par product and it being overlooked. A lot of Boeing component parts are outsourced to other companies, meaning multiple quality departments get eyes on them, not just Boeing but their suppliers as well. Some companies may forge documents to secure work, and Boeing may not be looking as hard because the suppliers don't charge as much. Worst case scenario a few inspectors, or techs get fired and the machine keeps spinning.

    MRSA is often used as a catch-all term for any antibiotic-resistant bacterial skin infection. It's not uncommon, although it is more prevalent in hospitals and places where people are living in extremely close proximity.

      because it's those same hospitals giving them to patients

    • @fematrailer
      @fematrailer 19 днів тому

      @eijitoh6252 Sorta, I guess? It's because there are sick people there, some of which have Staph infections, who then get treated with antibiotics. Some of the surviving strains of Staph may develop resistance to antibiotics. Most hospitals are generally pretty good with sanitization, but nothing can be perfect. One of the biggest problems comes from patients who are already immunocompromised from things like cancer treatments, autoimmune disorders, immunosuppressants after organ transplants, or just being really old. One of those people comes into contact with an amount of a pathogen that would normally not be enough to cause an infection in a healthy person, or gets an infection that is easily fought off by someone with a functioning immune system and now that population of bacteria is able to grow and mutate. Coupled with the fact that such a patient will likely be treated with antibiotics yet will probably have trouble completely eradicating the infection due to their weakened immune system, the likelihood that the bacteria that survive each cycle of antibiotics will develop resistance increases.
      Don't let this make you think that hospitals are more dangerous than they actually are, though. Honestly, the place where I personally saw MRSA the most was at Marine Corps Bootcamp at Parris Island. 90-ish dudes living in squadbays, getting crazy blisters on your feet and hands, and being stressed out, guys get MRSA and shit there all the time. Obviously it's mostly younger, healthy people there so most of them just get better. My point is that MRSA is pretty common, it's possible for a young, healthy person to survive it. Also, just to clarify, I am not a doctor.
