Excellent video. However, I had Honda install my running boards with the lights, and didn't understand why they charged so much. Now I understand. Besides the obvious sky-high shop rates, there is a lot more to this install than I thought. Thanks for shedding light on this process!

I have a question for you, I have a 2024 Honda passport you know in the rear cargo area and has that latch for storage. Do you know any way to put a lock on that? Or replace the latch itself with a lockable latch?
nice work bredrin. Fellow jamaican here, and I have a 2020 copper pearl like your last one and did all the high beam and internal LED lights, except turn signals since I don't like hyperflashing. Luckily mine came with the running boards, but not the light version. I hear a LOT of ppl complain the lights die within a year but the bulbs/color should be changeable supposedly. I did all weather mats, and also cargo tray, and 2nd row seatback protectors and cargo side protectors, basically I don't want to see any carpet in the car to get it dirty!! Got a question for you on your fuel MPG. Seems mine runs about 18-19 avg on around city, short highway driving while running in ECO mode at all times. Curious what yours gets on average.
I have a heavy foot i get 16.7 to 17.9 i never see 19 lol
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD i got 17 my first week in the car, been trying to get the advertised 22mpg combined and only got up to 19 this week by testing premium 93 fuel. Wid dem yah gas price, can’t keep it up. Just crazy to me can’t even get it in eco mode on a full tank.

I know you posted this 3 months ago, so it may be a moot point now, but I LOVE the lighting on the running boards. I also added the lighting on the underside of the rear bumper. It's so nice to if you are in a pitch black place at night, and you hit the unlock as you approach the vehicle and the whole perimeter of the car lights up. Hopefully you opted for them!

You didn't show hooking up the white caps.
So this just confirmed for me when I do get the running boards that I'm getting the ones without the lights. LoL
Edit: Ewww and then they are yellow. Definitely not getting the ones with lights now. Now just to decide in black or die cast.
Lol I change them to some white leds they look good right now
