I cross stitch every morning while I drink my coffee. Have been stitching for 40 years. Have made stockings for all family members plus many other projects❤ Nice to see another cross stitcher! It's very relaxing to me.
Hi Nicole, I’ve been watching your vlogs/videos for so many years, love how your always making your home so warm and cozy, great family fun❤ take care my friend, thank you for years of enjoyment.
I’ve been doing cross stitch for 30+ years, it’s my favorite hobby. My fave designers are Barbara Ana, Tiny Modernist, Crocette a GoGo and Prairie Schooler. Lots of FFOs on my Instagram! Your old patterns are cute!
Hey Nicole... well, the algorithm worked. You were my first new FlossTube channel suggestion for 2024, and I'm here for it all--you had me at "Holly Hobbie" and "Raggedy Ann," as well as your timeline since learning to stich. Another midwesterner is always a bonus, and I look forward to watching along through your most recent video. Happy New Year~~ from the Midwest, US.
I’m SO happy that you’ve started a stitchery channel! My Nana started me on pre-printed cross stitch when I was probably 4 or 5, and I’ve stitched ever since, although as a young teenager I switched primarily to counted. I’ve got a ton of to-do projects, and a few that I pick up and put down as the spirits move me. I’m also a rescuer of stitched pieces at thrift stores - if someone puts the time and effort into stitching something and then it ends up in a thrift store, you can bet I’m going to give it a home. Looking forward to your next stitchery video!!❤❤
@@NicoleNorthgardenStitches - I’m working on finishing up 2 heart shaped pieces that are stitched on grids made of wood that’s cut to 14 count grid. I had seen plastic canvas, of course, but never wood so when I saw them online I was intrigued. I also lucked out and found a huge sale online of even weave linen yardage, so I got 1 yard that’s 54”x36” - I’ll have fabric forever!!
I’m also a gardener so I can relate. I definitely do more crafts during the fall and winter than I do in spring or summer. Looking forward to seeing another video from you again. You’ve got another subscriber! 😃
I absolutely loved being able to do cross stitch, but getting older, with all the vision changes that go with it, have kept me from picking it back up as a hobby! I’m going to live vicariously through you!
Thank you for sharing all your projects. I did many counted cross-stitch when I was first married before kids. I would like to make a few Christmas ornaments. I love the Home Sweet Home you have in your craft room. Can you show it on the next video?
Oh, Nicole! You’ll have me digging out my cross stitch in no time! 😂 Until then, I’ll faithfully watch this channel too because you bring new joy and inspiration! 💕
I am newer to cross stitch and work on a budget. I have purchased a couple of the newer designs i love but have found many wonderful designs in the older magazine i love. I can find the older magazines at thrift stores for like 50 cents. Some charts are harder to read. I spend my money then on fabric because i lean toward bigger desgns and usually haven't found bigger pieces of fabric. Enjoyed this video much
So happy you started a new channel. I enjoy watching you on all of your other channels. We have a lot of the same interests. I enjoy you junk journaling.
Glad you started this channel. I had been enjoying seeing your projects shared on your other channel. I also love to stitch. I have done a bit of cross stitch but have been doing more embroidery type projects lately. I also make stuff out of felt. (Toys or Christmas ornaments) I haven't used overdyed thread before. Could you show us what that is by comparison to regular DMC stranded cotton please? 🙏
I enjoy cross stitch but I’m not clear where you’re going. Are you going to show your works only? Will you demonstrate stitches. I’m not aware that there are too many. Will you share the difference in fabrics and how to count to begin a project. I’m asking because I haven’t done any in probably 15 years, but I did enjoy it when I did! Thanks for taking the time to answer. I enjoyed your finished and in progress works!👏☺️🎉
Hi! Flosstube videos are really usually just checkins about your progress, plans, finishes, etc. If you search Flosstube on UA-cam you’ll see there are so many channels. It’s a whole huge community on UA-cam. I may do some tutorials here or there but mostly it’s just for showing projects and progress. Great question!
@@NicoleNorthgardenStitches Thanks, Nicole!! I’ll have a look around that community. Glad you decided to jump in and join that group!! You’ve got the wherewithal to do so!! Proud of ALL you’re accomplishing!!👏☺️
How exciting. Ok, so is this channel for newbies or should I already know what to do? Because i dont. I've never done cross stitch. Im excited to learn! Thanks!!😊
Great! My best advice is to start with a small project so you don’t get discouraged. I still do mostly smaller things lol and I’ve been doing this for years!
I am all over the place because I just mostly use things I find at yard sales or thrift stores. I’ll try to be more specific about what I’m stitching on when I next show my projects for the fabrics I know. Thanks for watching and for the question!

I do stitching in the morning too before I start the work day and then in the evening when we watch a show:)

There’s a pattern by tiny modernist I want to try! It’s a Christmas one. So cute! Thanks for watching!

Hi Nicole! Loved seeing all your projects and those to come!! ☺
Hello Nicole, how fun. Always look forward to your videos and watching your projects come to life will be really lovely!
I love finishing on stuff I find thrifting, so you are a double blessing!!!
Yes! I agree! Thanks for watching!
That was pretty interesting…I can only do cross stitch that you iron the pattern on! Dish towels, pillow cases…😊
You always do nice things!
Hi Nicole! So great to see you on Flosstube😀. I love your stitching and your thrifted frames.
Thank you Linda!

I just love to listen to you Nicole! I have cross stitched, but definitely don’t have time. So I will enjoy hearing about your projects!
Thank you! Glad to hear! And I’m happy to share my cross stitching with you!
This is so cool! I used to cross stitch many years ago. I love to see stuff like this. I love all your channels. ❤🪡🧵
Thank you!
Yippee, another Nicole channel! I love the patterns you've both finished and have on your radar. Cheers, Ardith
Aw thanks! Glad you’re excited!

I’ve gotten back into cross stitch in the last year and enjoying it. Looking forward to see your progress with the projects you showed us!
Sweet! Are you stitching anything now?
I’m working on a full coverage Heaven and Earth design that will take me forever to finish 😂
Love cross stitch 🎉❤

Always have something going lol ❤❤

Wow, cool! I only do shorts on tik tok. Look forward to seeing your stitching. If you are looking for any charts, let me know!

Forgot to ask what the letters stand for…dmc?
I’m not sure! But that’s what the brand goes by! I’ll have to look it up!
