That's awesome man. Biggest piece of advice i'd offer people is to WAIT until you're confident if your ability to make money consistently. THEN WAIT until you've saved up a few years of expenses before making the switch. Trying to make the money you need for this month, or this year trading sets us up for failure.
I had problem comprehending trading in general. I tried watching other YT trading channels, but they made the concepts more complicated. I was almost giving up until when I discovered your channel. I love the way you break down the content and explain everything in detail. The videos are easy to follow
This seems like the worst period.
Even the market are now very unpredictable. Started investing recently when the market prices were a bit high,today I am more than 60% down!
Don’t be confuse buying the dip in a bear market, with guaranteed future returns. Just because that company is down 60%+ from ATH does NOT make it a sound long-term investment. Make sure you’re investing in great companies. kudos to Christina Josef

My advice to everyone is this : if you want to grow big this year especially in your finances. Be willing to make investments. Saving is great but investing puts you on a pedestal where you wouldnt have to worry about savings as you do now. Amazing podcast you guys, I don't think I've ever related to one as much as this. Being in a similar position at year 5 where there is still these struggles even after making money consistently its so relatable. Sometimes I feel at that stage of trading where it's tough to find traders I can relate too. Where I am profitable for 4 years now so I am not new by any means. But I am not making as much as I want or as these titans of trading we have all studied as we have progressed this this career. Anyways app appreciate this interview only 2/3 of way through will finish the rest now!
I had to be honest and confess I suck at day trading at least for now, and a much better swing trader. The scaling up required to make decent money is nerve wrecking for me.

You said you were profitable in year 3, do you mean your whole account was back to break even and you were finally green or do you mean you just found consistency in being profitable?
How many times can he say like during one interview
It blows my mind how traders do interviews and say they don’t want to give away their knowledge. He said “I dont want to give away all my sauce”. Then he got real vague. I guess I’m just different and believe in helping people as much as I can with everything. You get back what you give. Treat people the way you want to be treated.
It's not the way you think it is, even if he gives you exactly 100% strategy you won't execute this like he does. It's a mental game you need to practice. Good luck and be patient
I didn’t go into detail for two reasons, number one is explaining a strategy in a podcast setting like this doesn’t provide much value, and number two too many people in the industry get overly fixated on strategy when everything I’m trying to preach and teach and Coach is on process.there is too much shiny object syndrome in the trading industry, and I’m trying to change that narrative and help people try to think for themselves.

Any advice to finding a mentor?
Find someone who trades a style you are into, or seek out issues you are trying to fix. A majority of my coaching focuses on helping traders build better processes on the backend for review and fixing their habits. I don’t mentor too much on “teaching strategy” so just see what you need and seek them out online
For me, I was in a chatroom and eventually started posting my ideas and entries and exits. One of the mods noticed my ideas and liked them so he dmed me and invited me to a different room with him and a few other guys that are all great traders.

@@stephenlin7590 this was like 2012 when it was tim Sykes and a few other rooms. Now a days, I'd say Roland Wolf is good for longing small caps, maybe investor underground but they are quite large (prob won't find a mentor there cause of it's size). Not sure for options or large caps whose good. Not in any paid rooms now a days personally

You should change the title of the video from "What It’s ACTUALLY Like Being A Full-Time Trader" to "What It’s ACTUALLY Like Being A Full-Time Trading Coach" it is weird how everyone you interview is pushing their coaching or their products but noone exactly makes a living PURELY by trading
Because they don’t actually make a living trading, they make a living selling people their products
