Yes, this mare is really nice....she uses her brain does not come uncorked, and once she understands she is fine. Enjoy watching her move.
I agree with TWH or a cross. She is pacing.
She's half medicine hat! Unusual markings. Love it!
Nice filly!looks to be TWH she's definitely gaited. Will be fun to she her progress in training.
The paint coloring is very interesting with the white on face the opposite side of the white on her body…kinda neat and yes I think you’re correct on the TWH.
What a blessing to have Robert as a helper!
But standing right in front of a green horse putting a bridle on is just asking to get hit in the face.
I agree with TWH. Purchased my mare as a QH cross. Video indicated she might have some QH in her. Also came from NM. DNA showed TWH/ Hanoverian and Mountain Saddle Horse 😂 First indication of gait was after she came and wanted to pace. I knew nothing of gaited horses so watched videos from a gaited trainer and learned to discourage the pace. She no longer paces 😊
Good job! I’m working with a Kentucky Mountain mare that was neglected and only trotted. Two years later we’re gaiting! So comfortable!
Now if owners follow through with your patience & instructions thinking this will be beautiful riding horse for years the RIGHT START CRITICAL and the owner did excellent thank you ❤ 😊
TWH. I wonder if you can get her in her gait? Such a nice big girl.
First ride well done! The 3 P's are= Prior proper planning! team Anderson is successful once again! I don't have experience with gaited breeds but maybe a Missouri fox trotter cross?
She does look like a Walker or Walker x
From the front her face is half and half. Like Oreo but I like Calypso as her name.
Thank you for the clear explanation. I really liked how this horse tried to figure out what was being asked
She is a black tobiano Spotted Saddle Horse. Really pacy........should be moving more square.
I agree. Her gait is consistent with a Walker or some gaited horse. Good job Robert!
My Guess is still Spotted Saddle horse. Which from what I understand is part of the walking family 🤷🏾♀️. That's my best guess 😊. She's a cutie 🥰
spotted saddle horse
Spotted Saddle Horse. She’s lovely!
Nice uneventful first ride!
She does look like a Tennessee Walker, big head and slender body, her gait seems smooth , although hard to tell at this stage.
Love your videos mang. Wish I'd have known about you before I met a complete jackass "trainer" in Tennessee who abused and starved two of my horses. That's when I decided to do all my training myself. At any case, I'm in Georgia and would love to come hang out with y'all for a day or two. Cheers
She has some unusual markings with half of her head white and the other half dark. Glad she doesn't have a split personality to go along with her markings which are split down the middle of her face. LOL
I always think it is better to build on previous work. If you lunged her the day before, why not lunge her a bit today to cement what she learned yesterday before getting on. I think it is a bit stupid to kick a young horse who has no idea what you want. Se understands the lunging, so you lunge each way a few mins and then the rider gets on and is helped with the forward by a little lunging. Next day, same thing and if the horse is good, you take it off the lunge after going each way a few mins. It just feels like you skipped a step. Which worked because the horse is pretty dull.
I was looking forward to this video 😊
Absolutely TWH
Pretty level headed.
Nice work. If only all horses started out like this! 😎
Most do when done right.

Good to know! You are a great trainer!
Shes definitely got a walker head .
❤❤❤
Good job you 2, and Calypso
Spotted Saddlebred?
definitely gaited.
She's quite sweet 💖
Really pretty horse who seems quite nice. Can see she's trying to figure things out. But she's smart & willing. Really like her name. Like this one alot.
I see a gaited horse, probably Ten. walker.
Great job, it's soooo interesting to see them figure it out, and this girl's pretty smart!
She's pacing. She's a Standardbred. They're fun! Even not so great riders can look like they were born in the saddle.
Probably not a Standardbred with that coloring. But Spotted Saddle Horses are also known to pace.
Great work.
