To be honest, you are very down to earth, it feels like you're a girl next door even after being Imitiaz Sir's daughter. Continue your vlogging journey, we are there to support you and please Do Not Change.
You're vlogs are really different than others vlog videos i guess you puts some uniqueness in your videos . Its feels so calm and peaceful whenever i watch your video's
You showed a beautiful timeless Shimla, I grew up there as a little child in the late 60s and early 70s and you brought that alive. Could smell the trees. We stayed at the Cecil for four months then, so was surprised to see a different date for its opening.
Hi I am from Shimla, I usually don't comment but I had to recommend more food places for you to try, seeing how passionate you seem about the city. If you liked the food at Cecil, you have to try Oberoi Clarkes it's at the other end of Mall Road but it has some amazing food . There's Embassy ice-cream which has ice-creams worth dying for and of course then there's WoodStreet Cafe near Sita Ram on Lakkar Bazaar they also serve Himachali food I think which you should definitely try, whenever you're in town next :))
I love mountain region. I don't know when God give me chance to see this beautiful and peaceful mountain.you also show me this mountain that why I love you ❤. Show me more mountain region mam. I am waiting and...
Loved it Ida! ❤ I've been so drawn to Shimla since a very long time, watching Shimla through ur lenses n stories felt like being there for a few minutes, sita ram chole luchhis r gonna live in my dreams too here on! Thanks for the reco 🥰
Same here... I love your vlogs ... the calm voice, the local food recommendations, bookstores and vibe 👌 gives me a who new perspective of vibing with a city ❤ If you could add some budget staying options, that would be great too ✨
I have recently watched your father interview on lallantop... And he talks great things about you then i thought to search for you on internet and from there i got to know your channel ... Your skills are awesome... Now today onwards count me as your huge fan... 😊❤
Shimla district beyond Shimla city is truly mesmerizing, next time you can try exploring the upper yamuna/pabbar basin or the upper satluj river basin. On the one side where Shimla city presents fusion of Oriental with a bit of local culture there on the other upper shimla presents the pure local culture. Apart from this, advanced studies is another place to explore within Shimla, if more interested about the heritage can take the heriatage walk from Mall road to advanced studies. Close to advanced studies you can try butter buns from kewal dhaba. Another interesting place to eat inside Shimla is bede's ke gol gappe. You can find the stall at Nav Bahar Chowk, close to St. Bedes college on the working days.
It was lovely to see Shimla through your vlog! I was born and brought up here! So many of Imtiaz sir’s movies have been shot in Shimla. Is there any connection?
Started watching you cause i am a big fan of imtiaz sir...not gonna lie but your way of presentation is really great and SOULFUL also heard you made short film...watched that too✨♥️👍 you are a great creator!
Ohhh dear, I just missed the opportunity to meet your father....I didn't knew that he was there ...I had a stall in shopping festival beside church. I was there for two months just came back four days before
I started following you from a random post on IG because you looked attractive, and I thought you were a rich kid living in your own imaginary world (sorry for the judgment). But after seeing your IG story and watching most of your videos, I now know you’re an amazing person. Also, I found out you’re the daughter of one of my favorite directors ❤
And here is the same school trip girl again 😁😁😅😅 Hey Ida One the first day of our trip, our bus got stuck at the place where Hanuman Ji's murti is This time i recognised the shimla mall road lakkar bazaar There was also Mcdonalds near by where we had lunch The staircase infront of the church was where our entire group had a pic I feel so bad because if we had our trip a little late, I would have met you in person 😢 But to be honest it's kind of an unsafe place. Random strangers try to act friendly and that's very very creepy But anyways, I loved the vlog ❤❤❤
Really loving the Himachal vlogss... But have one question How do you and your family manage to explore freely with Imtiaz sir being around and so many people recognising him or sir Wears mask?😅

Hello hello ! 😊🙏🌸🌸 Welcome back with another lovely vlog, showing some of my favourite sites - especially the Ridge and environs , with the imposing Christchurch and the town hall and the other British colonial buildings . And of course , also Cecil's. No doubt Shimla (somehow I still prefer to think of it as 'Simla') has a unique ethos, an ambience all its own. It's been a while, but each time I wander along the Mall or turn down from there towards the native/lower Bazar, I seek out Lurgan Sahib's magical shop (from Kim) ; and Scandal Point always brings to mind the inimitable Mrs Hauksbee (also from Kipling's stories) . 😂
BTW, you mentioned the old British Gaiety Theatre (dramatics) ; but most people today seem to have forgotten about the three iconic Shimla movie theaters , that alas are no more-- the Ritz, Regal and the Rivoli 😢 The other two were damaged or destroyed earlier but the Rivoli, I believe, was demolished only recently. There was a time between the 1940s and 1990s when many of the best Bollywood releases used to premiere at these places. I'm sure your father would be aware . Great stars of the past , like Raj Kapoor, Nargis, Waheeda Rahman, Dev Anand, Raj Kumar etc etc, all attended shows at these places. I think there is only one cinema still left now in Shimla? 🤔
Being in the mountains makes me feel so happy, away from the time hustle of Bombay. I love the people, they rely on each other, there is no scheming or manipulation (none that I have seen). The quality of my favorite foods (rajma and kadhi) are the best there. I feel so free to go to any place and start climbing right away.. I love drinking water from the rivers in the upper regions in Himachal... I can just keep going on.
