***** Well, if you think about it, even if Nedry had stayed loyal to InGen and Hammond, the first natural power outage would have set the dinosaurs loose anyway.
The 500+ dislikes are kids that never had to play games like this and are spoiled by cgi and graphics...this was and is still cool to me!!! Endorsement Here!!!!
I was literally looking at your 8-bit cinema playlist yesterday bummed that you didn't have this movie. When it popped up in my subscription feed I was so happy! These are so funny and cute!
I'm glad you post that this is more like 32-bit... because this is wayyyy beyond anything the NES or SMS or even Turbografx 16 could do (which was at its heart an 8-bit unit).
Nice video, but several important scenes were left out: 1) Nedry stealing embryos (could have been depicted like a stealth level) 2) Nedry getting stuck, and then killed while trying to use the winch on his jeep 3) Sattler, Malcolm, and Muldoon getting chased by Rexy 4) Grant and Sattler holding off a raptor while Lex reboots the system
TheGCritic I don't know why I make undeserving kids into badasses in our episodes. Did the same thing for Coral in Walking Dead and got a similar response. Maybe because I'm a big Toad fan, and he looks like a useless squat character but he's fun to play.
It's easier to display a character crawling and punching something in front of them instead of a character crawling and kicking something in front of them.
Very disappointed. All the other 8-bits are so close to what the films are like, this seemed like it was rushed and pretty much wasn't anything like the film. Dig site missing.Tour inside the centre as missing. Car being chased by t-Rex missing. Car falling back on top of them missing. Nedry being killed by dilophosaurus missing. Kitchen scene ridiculously rushed and kids climb into cents in kitchen??? NO. Security office scene missing when they ALL climb into vents. Just seems really rushed.
Shaun Young nedry getting killed is in there at the end, and you should go back and check all of the eps - there's always things missing - we boil it down to 8-10 key scenes to turn into levels or else we'd never to able to do this every two weeks. sorry you were disappointed, but yeah.....
CineFix This is the same sort of guy who complains when the movie doesn't exactly match the book. It was inventive, clever and funny as ever. Excellent work as always guys!
Stephen McCulla don't get me wrong, I love their work, I watch the gaurdians of the galaxy and shawshank over and over. And yes I do complain when films are not like books, bit only when they skip about 4-5 chapters of it killing most the story and any chance the audience have of a relationship with the characters. I love cinefix and their work, I'm a dedicated subscriber, was just overly dissapointed in this take as it is my favourite film of all time and shaped my childhood. Will continue to like, comment and keep subscribed to them, and will always watch their vids. Think your fantastic guys, didn't mean to sound so awful, just voicing my personal opinion. Can't wait to see the next.
No worries Shaun! and no offense taken! we just wanted to point out that we do this with all our episodes so that we can do them in time! We appreciate everyone being honest with us. And hey, you swing and you swing and sometimes, for some people, you miss. We'll keep swinging and thanks for watching!
+Ragesauce 8-bits make a total of 256 values.. Usually saying '8-bit' refers to using RGB values from an indexed palette with a total of 256 colors.. People often couple indexed color displays with the term 8-bit as well. Seeing as UA-cam can't store true 8-bit videos (one byte per pixel), you have to convert it to a full color video, so you really can't have a "true" 8-bit experience (would be cool if there was). So there doesn't seeeeem to be more than 256 colors in any one scene, so yes, I would still classify it as 8-bit. People usually incorrectly group 8-bit with low resolution as well which is false..
1992 Laura Dern is hot as balls, but the only reason they cast her in that movie is because of that terrified way she screams "SHIIIIIITTTT" in the T-Rex chase scene...
this was awesome...Monty Python and the Holy Grail would be amazing to see (if you haven't done it already...) but choosing the scenes would be difficult...possibly having many episodes and spacing them out between other films would be one way of doing it...
Love how when the Raptor pops up Tim just punches it in the face
That made me experience two different kinds of nostalgia. (Jurassic Park and NES) :"D
Me too. LOL 😂
Looklike Jurassic park movie.

Look at those graphics, the developers spared no expense.

Dude this movie and the music is so amazing, even the pixelated version gave me chills
Every time i hear that music it takes me right back to my childhood, i still remember seeing jurassic park in the theater like it was yesterday.
The purple tone used when returning back to the trex paddock area was a 10/10 brilliant idea!
None of the Dinos would have gotten loose if Dennis just did his freaking job!
***** And not gotten involved in industrial espionage. He also wouldn't have become an all-you-can-eat buffet for a Dilophosaurus.
***** yeah Nedry was pretty important to the plot
***** Well, if you think about it, even if Nedry had stayed loyal to InGen and Hammond, the first natural power outage would have set the dinosaurs loose anyway.
I am reading the book and there are lots of differences from the movie.

Really impressive, though you should've included the 'When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth' banner falling at the end.
You have a knack for summarizing movies down to the basic moments. Amazing!
Each one of these they make , make me want to play them 😆
I liked the part with the dinosaurs!
Spared no expense
No shit sherlock
You see, dinosaurs don't follow a set pattern or park schedules - it's the essence of chaos.

THIS IS PURE ART THANK YOU. WISH ALL MOVIES WERE LIKE THIS IT WOULD SAVE ME LOT OF HOURS...
Nedry hacking the system is important to the plot and should have been there. Otherwise the park loosing power makes no sense.
Vinny Banana Good point
Funny enough, the Sega Genesis game never mentions Nedry or even any human error or sabotage either.
i dont think the nes or snes ever mentioned it either.
Its in there, watch again.
That's cause you didn't say the magic word.
The nostalgia is strong with this one.

Was gonna say, more like 16-bit Cinema
The music and sound FX are eerily 8-bit sounding though
@Leandro Aude no it's not. 8-bit refers to graphics that an 8-bit processor is able to produce.
@Leandro Aude Since when? As a retro game enthusiast, 8-bit has always meant 8-bit and 16-bit has always meant 16-bit.
loving these NES type videos
Most awesome thing I've watched the whole month!
You guys should continue this series with Jurassic World!
I'm devastated that I had to stop this video to give it a thumbs up.

This is a really well made short film. Would be cool if a game were made in this style a JP game i mean. Two thumbs up
Step 1: Watch this on mobile
Step 2: Enter horizontal full screen
Step 3: Pretend like you're playing a gameboy
Step 4: Cry for nostalgia
That doesn't work. The gameboy's screen wasn't even that big. It doesn't have a backlight. And it doesn't have color. So how would that be nostalgic?
Nice catch
