She was feeling guilty about dropping the basket.. sneaking away over the fence 😂
She rushed under the porch to eat the seeds. She's been doing this all her life. 😊😊😊
I actually think she was scared of the birdfeeder, because it wasn't where it was supposed to be.
I think she just wanted to leave the cubs on the porch and sneak away from them for a few minutes.

It's amazing how the 4 cubs reacted to the dog's bark, they all quickly started climbing the tree. It's obvious the mom trained them early how to protect themselves from danger. Very smart!!! . Thanks for sharing.

Your videos are some of the best I have seen on wildlife cohabiting with humans (and vice versa), and the mutual respect of boundaries within a shared habitat. This makes for an incredible experience for both species, exchanging energy between each other.

a dog barks and the cubs instinctively head for the tree. Meanwhile, their mom is so chill about the situation. LOL In time they'll grow to be chill too. But in the meantime they're like "Mommy! Mommy! Why aren't you retreating to the tree too?"

I think Simone thought she broke the bird feeder and was embarrassed and felt bad about it, and that's why she exited the way she did across the banister and down the gate, and then when she came up and looked at it again she "backed out"... as if to say "oops, still broken! I'm so sorry, Uncle Pat... please forgive me" 🐻

Hi! I am relatively new to your bear videos- love them all! Say, when did you first interact and know you were the " Bear Whisperer"? On your porch one day, and they came to visit? You both felt an instant connection? Magic happened for sure
I was going to ask whether the cubs are weaned and then i saw 2 of them also eating the bird seed that Simone have knocked down. So they're on solid diet.
The cubs are old enough to eat solid foods but their mother is still nursing them, until June-July.

Sometimes i think simone will take a nap on Mr. Conleys veranda and give the cubes for 2 hours for baby sitting. They need a hammock for play in kindergarden.
