I can see the miles traveled in your face, I hear in your voice, a soulful sound of many life experiences, that only comes with the pain and joy of the journey, beautiful man.....
Beautiful brother. Your music has inspired my life for the last 12 years. You have been with me all over the world; through thick, thin, and in between. You are a blessing. Enjoy yourself.
This is how I imagine hearing him, in some reality in which we know one another. One of my favorite Neil Young songs, just T casually playing and singing, me trying to sing harmony in key. So grateful for whatever glimpses we get of Todd, his talent, and his heart. Much love to you, Todd Snider! 💜
@@tiredcaballero no he does NOT look good for his age...he is YOUNG compared to me (age 69 1/2),,,and he looks like an 80 year old man....no offense, I love his songs as you do...but if you know Todd, please get him on a diet of FRESHLY JUICED Vegetables and Fruits a.s.a.p.
Man I'm finally going to be able to see you in person when you come to Bonita Springs in Oct. You're in me man. Singing my life and reminding me of fucking grateful l am to be living it. Long time ago a guy who knew me well told me my dream had to be bigger than my fear. I wrote that down because I felt it would be something I'd need to remind myself of on a regular basis. Still have that old piece of paper. Just don't need the reminding as often as I once did. And with your music in my life I can smile. Don't matter if I'm happy or sad or whatever that middle place is. I can still smile listening to you on your journey. Thank you Todd. Thank you.

Never heard of this guy before today, where the hell have I been? This guy is great! I could listen to this guy all day! Does a better job with this tune than Neil!
Es maravilloso, solo nos pide un poco de atención, vamos a darle ese deseo, me deslumbra, y se, y entiendo mucho, mucho de esta música, por eso le añoro
He looks healthier now than he did a year or two ago. He's getting old, but he doesnt look sick anymore. I was actually pleasantly surprised by his appearance.
alrightitsnighttonight very much so! Check out his live album “Near Truths and Hotel Rooms” for a great introduction to his catalog and storytelling style (it’s available on all streaming services), and tune into his weekly live streams every Sunday morning at PurpleBuildingLive.com
@@scbret Thanks for posting, pointing those of us who either just found Todd or those of us who are just beginning to appreciate him in the right direction.
@@scbret surprised about folks referencing this being a cover. Uhm... wow. Very cool story to the song and the guy it is about was a manager or roadie of Dr. Hook's . If I've got the story straight. Todd himself told it in one video that I know was on utube.
How cool would it be if you were one of the young fuckers skip would like? That might be someone's legacy and a damn good one at that. Peace be the journey
But he sure can play guitar and tell a story. I love him, his music gives me goosebumps and tears to my eyes. The life he lives is the same as mine - live fast, look old before your time. God bless Todd Snider.
Todd Snider is the national treasure not nearly enough people know about.

In Todd's case I think it would be more like hear the miles and see it in his voice .
Forever a student of life for sure. If Todd plays within 100 miles of wherever I am I make sure to be there.

So far 60,000 views. I think I’ve contributed about 5000. Best troubadour in a generation.

Todd Snider Rules!!
What a troubadour.
Todd Snider sings Comes a Time so beautifully. And so heartfelt. When I'm feeling low it lifts me right up off the ground.
Todd's aging, just like all of us. Still a beautiful man!
no my friend, the man is very ill...he's FAR TOO YOUNG to look like a 78 year old singer/songwriter...
@@bobpowell7002 he looks in pretty good shape for his age

Bravo
I’m worried for Todd. He has been giving me music, poetry, and humor, for so long. Selfishly, I don’t want to lose him. I’m worried.
Dan Miller similar thoughts have crossed my mind. Had the pleasure of meeting him twice in the past yr. It's weird feels like the brother I never had
Todd has been the same for many years. He's not going anywhere. Seeing him with Prine this summer, woohoo.
He looks healthier now than he did a year or two ago. He's getting old, but he doesnt look sick anymore. I was actually pleasantly surprised by his appearance.
Cool stuff Todd
I literally just stumbled on to this guy. Amazing. Is he still alive?
