Lived in paris for a year and definitely coming back next year :,) also half indo hehe
You are so young! Carry your roots with you. When you find the right place and the right time you can 'settle down' somewhere but until then you can continue building something within yourself. Ah! My husband and I were on the Rue du Nil in October last year & I bought a tote bag from Terroirs d’Avenir. Love that little street. We stayed in an Airbnb on the Rue Montorgueil - it’s our favorite neighborhood in all of Paris, and where we stay every time we go. Highly recommend if you don’t know it.

Since you're in the south of France I have an amazing little town recommendation. It's a town within castle walls called, Aigues Mortes that is surrounded by Camargue. It has amazing beaches and great culture. My grandparents live there and I've spent the majority of my summers there, I'm not sure what your plans are but if you ever find yourself in that area be sure to check it out!!! It's totally worth it.

You’re still so young! You can create roots when you’re done wandering! Even if you travel the next 5 years, then pause to create a base, you’ll still have loads of time to figure out what kind of stable life and career you want. I have friends who only figured out what they want after 30. Traveling is so good for life experience. You’ll end up far richer in life and experiences from the travel. Besides, in this day and age, you can find work remotely when you are traveling so you would still be building something for yourself as you create amazing experiences and live through awesome adventures

I would say keep exploring new places until you're tired and really *want* to settle and build a community! I went straight home to london after graduating, got a job and settled in- which I have enjoyed- but since covid restrictions lifted I've had the itch to leave (at completely the worst time for me financially etc). So my words of wisdom are do it while you can!!
