Great set - really enjoyed everyone on this. Kudos to you Jurnalist for recognising that none of us would be here listening to grime and doing what we are doing without BITC, without Dizzee. He was such a pioneer and led the way - even to his peers, especially with the sounds he created and how he constructed his beats. He doesn’t always get the love and the recognition he deserves as there’s definitely a lot of people that (probably through professional jealously) underplay his role in all this, but the impact is undeniable. He will forever be the OG. 🔥
For everyone saying Kruz Leone is new. Hes been on sets with tempa t for ages. Definitely not new but has worked on his craft unlike the rest. Jammer using the same wheel up bars from ages. JME being in a different headspace as to when he created his bars and dizzee completely neglecting grime shows when they come back to a set with someone whos been on tbeir grind
Don’t know if you’ve watched the Grime takeover before on bbc 1xtra but I still keep it on my favourite list. Always gets me hyped up, General Levy was with them too. Fucking amazeballs! ✌️💜
@@KFJProductionss Nah bro he mentioned that he wrote on another beat that just sampled the I Luv U sound in it, that's what I mean. I heard one like that a while back and wondered if it was the same
Different era my g. Bringing lyrical content not just being teky is an advent of modern and post dizzee and jammer era. JME is the beginning of this switch to me.
26:20 is Sir Spyro - Tekkerz 3 (on his bandcamp)
legend

@@KFJProductionss Nah bro he mentioned that he wrote on another beat that just sampled the I Luv U sound in it, that's what I mean. I heard one like that a while back and wondered if it was the same
Kruz Leone really exposed how lyrically trash Dizzie, Jme and Jammer are lol.
