Drone footage of the famous sandpit on Horsell Common, Woking. This is the location where the martians landed in H. G. Wells' novel War of the Worlds. Music from www.bensound.com - New Dawn
It was totally different back in the 60's , a big excavation site, with sandstone cliffs and heaps of sand, I used to play there a lot, great place in those days......
hey, i was there for my first ever visit to this site today! as a big fan myself of the War of the Worlds book, related movies, the known music theme and everything else that does come to my mind at the moment - it's amazing how much information a drone can show, i thoroughly enjoyed this clip and the work you put into it :-)
It's nice to see all the trees destroyed by the heat ray have grown back.
