Nothing to do with the microphone, it's something in his audio processing chain and it's beyond annoying.

It's an anti-blowout setting on his end. Along with settings to only pick up sounds in the immediate vicinity.
Or it was him moving his head away from the mic and the immediate vicinity setting came into play.
I always assumed it was something he did intentionally, some low pass filter that makes sure his screaming doesn't deafen headphone users. Kind of like the expensive ear protection for gun ranges, that are mostly very soundproof but have a mic that doesn't play any audio into the earpiece over a certain dB limit.
Kerrigan is listed as being a medium difficulty hero, and that may have been true on release, but I don't think it has been true for a long time now.
As an Alarak main, I fucking agree, Kerrigan is the bane of my existence, why did I mention Alark? cuz they are often compared, but Alarak is EZ mode compared to Kerrigan.

Kerrigan has always been really fun, albeit very difficult in the current game. I don't know if there is a more fun talent in the game than forever Ulti. It always brings the humor to a match.
Old Kerrigan was a beast for a long time. She was much more of a solid bruiser. I wish they had taken her more in that direction instead of focusing on Jumpigan.
Maelstrom suffers from the same problem that Malthael's AOE ult does, but Kerrigan's deals less damage and provides less sustainability.

I know that feeling. Enemy on the core and some of your team is dead? Hail-merry it and say “This might not get us back in it but I can certainly try!” Never know, that could be the event that gets you back in the game.
I'm 30-7-1 now following your builds. This is a hero I basically never play so I needed some practice matches but once I got a feel for her she felt really good to play. I feel like if I really took the time to learn the character and the timing of her abilities I'd be way better. She's a character that I feel like if I really dedicated myself towards becoming good with her I'd do really well with eventually

Kerrigan has some of the best skins in the game. I love the Countess Kerrigan skin, and the cheerleader is also pretty great.

I need to let you know that your A to Z series makes it possible for me to play heroes I otherwise hate due to not knowing where to start with them). Like Kerrie for instance. I fucking hate Kerrie and yet this build and this video made it possible to play her. Thank you for this series.
I'm in the exact same boat with my Kerrigan level. She is still my highest level hero, and is the hero I have the most games played with, but I have hardly touched her in years.

With boundless and the shield lvl 1 (top one) you can ravage around and build up decent shields before popping your combo off.
This video is a PERFECT example of why I love and play kerrigan :D
Only thing missing is her lane clear, all by herself she destroys minion waves! Once you finish her quest you can just qqqqqqqqqqqqqqq ranged minions first, work your way to the melee, minions dead, move on!

My feeling is that all characters are viable. How viable and effective they are depends on the comp. if Kerrigan is up against a team of people with mobility and cleanse then she needs to play around her team a lot more.

I remember when I first picked up HoTS I was like “oh fuck yea, Kerrigan queen of blades let’s goooo” and literally got stomped every single game because she got absolutely fucked in the ass when you don’t know how to play the game lmao.
She’s since become a bit of a lesser pick for myself, but I’ll probably play her a bit tonight lol.
