STAY COOL with the Orbit Booster Pump that increases your water pressure from 30-45 PSI to 160 PSI. This installation will boost your water misters and create a larger curtain of coolness!
Below, I will leave the products used in this video FIRST, and then I will leave the product links to the water mister system I used.

Well done! Thanks for taking the time to post this video, Helps me a lot. Starting project on my Phoenix home this weekend with same pump 3/8 line.
Just a thought for you, throttling down from 3/8 to 1/4 will reduce your pressure going to all those nozzles over that distance. You really should redo your lines to be 3/8" the whole way. You are not seeing the whole benefit of the 160 psi across all nozzles advertised by Orbit in this setup.
Great job. The answer is YES! I'm going to set something up. I'm not in a super hot area so it's not essential, but it will be nice for the rare HOT days in the PNW.
Yep, I know what you mean. I don't use them ALL-the-Time....But, It's nice to have them :) -Todd

That is a very nice place You have there

System leaks so bad using the Orbit Arizona Pump. I have called Orbit and was told it would be OK to change the poly to a 3/8 OD copper line every 2 feet. (Hmmm? I just might do that) Works better but when the pump is turned on 3 connectors still fail. Why doesn't someone just come up with a "Compression" T setup? I was forced to use a 3/8 splice at the first connector with copper on one side connected to the poly. Orbit, you have to know of this failure.
Hi did you change the nozzles, and did it make a difference.
I am not sure the upgrade was worth it, would you agree?
Now that you have had this for a year now, you still recommend? My problem with misters was they got everything too wet and I’m looking for a better system to have a finer mist.

is your kamru ok
Thanks so much for the video. What smart power plug are you using? Is it weather resistant? I assume that the pump switch only works with a manual flip of the switch. The online manual is not the best.
Mine was not exposed to rain, so I used these. They work really well and setup is instant! SYLVANIA 70555 ZigBee Indoor Smart Plug, Works with SmartThings, Wink, Echo Plus, Hub Needed for Amazon Alexa and The Google Assistant, 4 Pack | amzn.to/2Y7rKpo
So, are you happy with the system? I am looking at buying a system...possible the one you showed. Did the smaller brass nozzles make a difference in the thread you were talking about with paul? Thanks
Yes, I am happy with the misters. The smaller orifice nozzles made no difference on my system. I think the booster pump created a boost that maybe the smaller nozzles may have done on their own. But with the pump alone I am happy. As far as noticing a temperature drop by just adding the booster pump...I'm not that sure it changed the temperature, but I could clearly see more coverage from having just a little-bit more power with the water pressure boosted.
You need smaller offices on your spray nozzle
Hey Paul, I actually purchased these smaller nozzles. I plan on replacing them in my next video. Do you think these will perform better?

Oh heck, I'm not going to wait for your response :) I'm going to go out with my ladder tonight and install them . . . I want it to be like a VAPOR mist. Thank you for your input on this video. I really appreciate it. Todd

@@twHomeShow What did you end up doing? Did the smaller nozzles make a difference at all?
@@twHomeShow I think you need the next size down. From what I've seen, the .012" orifice size is for around 60psi which is low pressure. I think a .008" would work better, finer mist and less volume/wetting. EDIT: the .012" orifice works well if you are in a dry climate (e.g. Arizona) but for more humid climates, you need to downsize to the .008" size.
@@dankeeler2061 Thanks for the tip :) -Todd
low pressure, not higt pressure,
you need 1000 psi for fine mist 200psi not enough
