I'll listen to all my favorite covers of yours one night and it's usually a few weeks or a few months before I'll come back and listen again. I'm so glad to see that you're still posting. This was absolutely beautiful, keep it up man.

Wow I love this! Adam, years ago I found you while searching for Incubus piano covers and I was blown away by your voice and your piano arrangements. You inspired me to do my own piano cover of 3 Libras and with the help of your little tutorial I managed to figure out the keys. 😄 I watched and admired all your piano covers as they all met my taste in music. I also love your own compositions! This all happened during those years when you were inactive. Now seeing that you come back from time to time brings me so much joy! Thank you for sharing your improvisations on the piano. This one in particular is magical! ❤️

Hey Jannna thanks for the feedback. There's nothing more satisfying than to learn I played some part in inspiring someone else to be creative. So awesome! ☺️

❤❤❤❤❤❤ Adam do you ever feel like you dont play how music theory says you're supposed to play...but it sounds so much better than anything else out there?

Really good question. Very complicated answer and I can only speak for myself. I've taken many lessons in my life, which have mainly focused on either classical music or jazz. I def enjoyed the freedom of the latter more. I took some general music theory in college. All of that has influence, of course, but the most joy I've gotten from playing has always been when writing/improvising or creating arrangements to existing, non-piano based, music. Prob developed a bit of my own style over time. Whether the result is appealing to the whoever is watching is subjective. But as you suggested, I'm sure those with much more musical education and training look at something like this and can offer much criticism if they choose...there are only three chords here and who knows what they may think about my hand positioning. 😝 I used to be much more insecure and sometimes paralyzed by thoughts like that. But now I don't care so much. Just having fun playing 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@monroe12478 I feel the same way when I play. Im not nearly as talented as you but i've also felt self conscious about hand positions things such as "thumb tucking" where my thumb plays a key underneath my other fingers..im told thats 'wrong' lol...but its the only way to achieve the sound I want. I think once you stay true to the sound you are trying to achieve there is no wrong way to play. Your sound is unique to your art and please dont ever change. Its absolutely beautiful!

Thank you 🙏. About more full song tool covers...not sure. Big time investment. Shorter videos of song parts is more likely to actually happen 🤷🏻‍♂️

Your keys are not plugged into an interface, right? Cause I hear the sound of your pressing. If so, what kind of microphone are you using?
(And of course, wonderful playing as always)

Hey John. Yes you're right. No interface. Computer wasn't on. Kind of spontaneous and just recorded with an iPhone. But most of the time I'm using a Focusrite Clarett and Logic.
