McFarlane is really stepping up there game and making a grand return to the action figure world. Good for them. If they can bring their sculpting with some more updated engineer they're gonna be a force.

Maisie Williams = 1.55 m tall. 5 and 11/16ths = 14.45 cm. 1:10 144.50 cm 1:11 158.95 cm 1:12 173.40 cm Considering that she is wearing boots which can add an inch in height i'd say she is much closer to being 1:11 scale. I really dont understand why scaling is so hard. Take the actors height then divide it by the scale you're after. There really should be little difference but alas every company has a different idea as to what 1:10 or 1:12 scale are.
In sword talk, that dent is called a 'fuller.' Arya looks and moves a LOT better than I ever would have imagined from early photos. The scale seems a bit.. strange -- almost like it's between 7" and 6" somewhere, as I don't think Arya is quite that tall in the show, but she's not tall enough for that to be a 7" figure so.... I don't know. I'm super impressed, though.
The lack of articulation was my issue with the McFarlane color line specially for Assassin's Creed. They did an awesome job with the sculpt, but the fig just stands there. Hopefully they'll revisit them. They probably won't.

I think Toys these days aren’t even made to be played with. A lot of times you get the package open and it looks good but the build quality is garbage. Not saying McFarlanes toys are like that just in general.
The mold has so many bumps and pits on the face. I started buying the stranger things line . The paint apps are sloppy and the amount of bumps and defects in the plastic moods is pretty disappointing

Yeah there's a point or 2 on the articulation they could be improved on but look what they did with the existing. The wrist for example works more like an import with the up and down and side to side. I'm getting much more hopeful for their DC line. Nice on the fly mods by the way. Those skirt cuts on camera were impressive.

I don't know about shoulder. That Danny figure, if it's roughly scaled to 6" figures, should be around the 5.5" mark. The solicitation for the dragon gives it a wingspan of over 16 inches, and a body length of 9 inches. Equivalent to the size of the dragons during around season 5. Definitely well past the 'on the shoulder' days. Also, it's shooting blue flames and has blue eyes - so you'll need to ignore that bit to have him displayed with Danny at all. Still, it's a beautiful looking piece and surely any good toy collector can find some way and place to display it.

Nice review as always! I hope that they will incorporate better and better articulation systems if new series will come out from this line. But if you could then please suggest Mcfarlane it would be a nice idea to install sword scabbards/sheath to their upcoming figures. As if I saw it right they didn't included it for neiter the John or Arya figures in this wave! (Come on even funko included this...) Also I think it's very iconic parts of the northern characters their fur mantles. Maybe a seperate accessory set would be a nice idea for this 1st batch and then later come as standards for the future releases. Plastic solution would be not so bad, but a real fur/cloth fabric would be the much welcomed addition to this line. At least I think so. Looking foward to see what McFarlane will bring out from this!

If they were to move away from the chalky, painted skintone faces, I'd be more inclined to jump into this line. What's shown here is pretty decent, though. Thank goodness the shoulder pads are soft plastic.

No, Potter is 7-inch scale. I'd rather they be 6-inch but they just look too good to pass up.

She's way too big for 1/12 scale, she is pretty short for her age and this is almost like a full grown male.

Naw, the front and back are much more visible, the sides are still kind of hidden.
