Still showing great range of motion and flexibility in still being able to tumble. You're right about it being difficult to weight train and preserve your gymnastic ability. I have old Polaroid shots of me doing a round off to a few back handsprings from 25 years ago. I tried to do the same for an elementary school class as an exhibition and unknowingly tore my rotator cuff because I was was heavily into weight training at the time and had lost alot of shoulder rotation flexibility. It felt weird but no pain. Next day I couldn't lift my arm. Lived and learned. If I could do it over again, I would have given myself a couple weeks to bring back the flexibility and muscle memory. Just friendly advice to avoid injury. You still look pretty limber though. May you never have any mishaps like me. Love your content and for bringing back memories.❤

Patty was saying about feeling your lats….when you get a chance try doing single arm lat pull downs and experiment with changing the direction of which way your palm is facing.. …and you can also try doing a slight pause at the top in the stretched part of the lift with a good amount of tension on the lat ….I hope these variations help 👍 great video patty

LAT DOMS TIP My favourite way to get lat DOMS is with gymnastic ring chinups (WITH STRAPS!!!!). The gymnastic rings rotate and allow your hands to be in their strongest position at all times throughout the entire lift so it really helps me talk to my lats more. It's the most "connected" feeling vertical pull variation I have ever experienced. And the straps help take the forearms/grip out of the picture. 3x8 of my own bodyweight in a controlled manner is enough to give me proper doms the next two days. It's my main pulling compound movement. It will probably be the first exercise on my Pull days for a very, very, very long time.

I follow the advice given by patty. I've always worked out , but for the first time ever I have actual obliques that can be seen without trick lighting or tensing till I nearly pass out... still slightly put to shame by pattys pump, but I honestly thought I just didn't have the genetics to have achieve what I wanted. It's all just technique , toutine and motivation though. Massive thank you to patty!
