I love how it reverberates in the room. I always wanted to play the Cello. I believe it to be a divine instrument. It has a resonance similar to the sound of God. Similar to an Om, or Gregorian chants. I'm glad someone else appreciates the separate pieces of the puzzle. Sorry to be a spazz lol

Definitely one of my top songs and most favorite of all time from any genre. It is creepy, dark, moody, disturbing, eerie, depressing, sad, beautiful, but very danceable and uplifting at the same time. This video is pure magic! In fact, the whole album is a masterpiece! 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

3D on the violin in Butterfly Caught - “What I like about the violin in Butterfly Caught is that it is so non-definable; it sounds both oriental and western at the same time, as though it originated in Istanbul, when the Bosporus was still the limit between East and West.” [Humo Magazine - March 2003]

    "Butterfly Caught"
    [Verse 1]
    Weightless falls
    Honeysuckle
    Strangers
    Strange this
    Light from pages
    Paper thin thing
    Protected by the naked eye
    Pearly sunrise
    Nearly worn
    Kneeling like a supplicant
    [Hook]
    Darkened skin
    Afraid to see
    Radiate
    Open lips
    Keep smiling for me
    Darkened skin
    Afraid to see
    Radiate
    Open lips
    Keep smiling for me
    [Verse 2]
    Weightless cool honeysuckle
    Fair skin
    Freckles
    Uncut teeth
    Tranquil eyes
    Bite my lips
    Bite my lips
    Under your feet
Written By Neil Davidge & Robert “3D” del Naja

Even though most people will not agree with me, i think 100th window is MA's strongest effort. You see Del Naja's doubt, musicalism and paranoia all in just a few songs, it's hauntingly beautiful.

This song is one of the things that marks my life (I listen to this 2-3 hours a day). True inspiration, the power of art, beauty in darkness. Although I make a more heavy and concentrated music, this song is one of the greatest things I heard in my life and I'm planning to make a similiar, but not the same, song to pay homage to this song. I love the use of symbolism in this music video. It's absolutely beautiful! And the lyrics--they don't seem to make sense...at first. But when you analyze the music video and the lyrics together, you'll find the name of the song and the moth in the music video are not mistakes--but symbols. I think this song is about a loss of innocence and emptiness. It is truly a work of art.

100th window never come close to the sound of Mezzanine. It's a dope album too but doesn't sound to any massive attack album released.
It's basically a robert del naja solo project with Neil davidge. Mushroom and Daddy G left the group , the backbone of the tracks was played and deconstructed with the help of the group Lupin howl.

Best part of the song is left out in this version. Check out the almost 8 minute version track. The strings are the best part.

The collision of exceptional artistry is a truly transcendent blessing. I miss these days, as the world we once knew is in its final death throes. All we can do is TRULY Pray & try to "Fight the good fight of the faith" against the EVIL until the Inevitable end of the system of things. Sorry for the diatribe. But if I can awaken even 1 soul, it's worth the effort. #Amen #FearNot #Pray #Pinnacle #Artistry #Blessings #Rapture #Woke #Awake
